I had bought this product for years, before I noticed that the form of zinc is from zinc oxide which is not typically taken as a supplement but is commonly found in topical products like sunscreens and creams. Of all forms of zinc, zinc oxide is the most poorly absorbed by the body. Yet this zinc is the most expensive I’ve ever bought, by far. So I’m mixed - it’s easy to take, but what’s it actually doing for me?
