High quality Futaba
It’s Futaba, flown Futaba for decades, no issues. Their manuals are definitely written by engineers, they need to do better with that and have them written by humans who understand layman’s language, who can communicate better and streamline ideas! Other than that, Futaba has never disappointed me!

Switched from spektrum
10J so far is a great transmitter. Switched from spektrum after helplessly watching a valuable airplane crash. Futaba has a great reputation of reliability and not losing signal. There are a few differences in programming but not too difficult with a little patience. Would not recommend for beginners. When binding, be sure to place reciever directly next to transmitter. Have flown a few times now with different planes. Fits great in my hands and seems solid and well designed.

I opened the package, I'm busy in other things, not yet paired with receiver, believe it must be a quality product from Futaba.

It cost a little more, but you get what you pay for.
I'll use it got airplanes, mostly electric. It was fairly easy to program. Just waiting for better weather to try it. Been using it with a flight simulator. Works well. Much nicer than my DX6e was. Couldn't rely on it. I believe lose of signal caused a bad crash.

R3008SB Receiver problems.
Beware of the R3008SB receiver included with this radio. Tried installing it in my airplane with Hitec HS-625MG servo on elevator. When I exercise the elevator the link LED on the receiver turns red and the servo sticks at full deflection for at least 1 second. Called Futaba support and they blamed the servo because it was a Hitec servo. Wrong answer!!!! BEWARE

Futaba quality . World RC air champions usually have them in hand .
Hard to beat Futaba quality , pay bit more. Gave 4 stars as owners manual is outdated and needs a make over . Futaba takes for granted your some pro Radio user . And online training is spars.
