Tried so many brands and this is the only one that actually works on Asian hair. Finally got some curls! Just a tip: my hair is super stubborn, so I had to leave it on for double the recommended time to get results. Worth it though！

Breakage, damaged
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! I wouldn’t give it any star if I could. This has damaged my hair so bad I had to cut most of it off. The breakage is real. I had hair below my shoulders now I have a short bob. The breakage is almost to my roots. I’ve followed all the directions, did exactly what was said to do. I used this in November and my hair is still extremely damaged, and every time I brush it there is more breakage. Please please don’t use this on your hair.

Different packaging? Arrived without damage
I'v used this perm before on my fine, straight, 50% gray hair with decent results. I can't afford the salon so this is the next best thing. Overall, dependable. My only surprise was the box. The descriptions are the same but the box is totally different. New packaging? Old packaging? I do not know, but I have never seen this orange box before. Arrived intact.

Easy First-Time Perm!
Wow, this was my first time using an at home perm and it was amazing. I permed my pre-teen son's hair and this perm solution set was great. The curls came out very robust and impressive. No, perms do not smell good. I don't think one that does even exists. But we ventilated the room and it was fine. This kit DOES NOT COME WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO PERM. It comes with the solution and a processing cap. You will also need to buy curling papers, rods, a sectioning comb, clips to hold hair back, and the roll of cotton that keeps the solution from dripping into the face. All-on-all, much more cost effective than a perm at a salon, even with the extra items needed. I recommend!
