This fan is a great example of form follows function. The design is simple and clean. This fan won't impress any of your friends by the way it looks; but turn it on and they won't care. This fan moves more air than you might expect. Well worth the money. FYI, make sure you also get the correct speed controller (sold separately).

Very misleading information on specs. Fan hardly moves air on a 10' ceiling. Manufacturer told me it needs a minimum of 22' ceiling which was never mentioned in specifications.

The ad here on amazon for this product says 46000 cfm I consider this false advertisement because on the box it says 10,681 cfm.

Great fan very heavy duty

I purchased 2 of these fans. They are heavy and seem well made. On forward (down) they move air well. On reverse, they S--k. For them to be effective in reverse the blades will need to be turned. My biggest complaint is in the wiring, for the fan to operate in forward and reverse, controlled by the Canarm switch you will need a 14/4 w/ ground or a 12/4 w/ ground from the switch to the fan. Not a big deal if you know AHEAD of time, aggravating when you've already ran the normal 12/2.

Best Fans we have ever had for our Barn. They run great and push a heck of a lot of air. Strongly recomend these. The only thing I do have to say is teh packaging they sent them in was not what it should be. They arrived fine but the box was another story and only by luck did they arrive in perfect condition. Box had been perfereated in several places. Other than that the Fans as I said are supper and highly recomend them.
