The Children's PlaceGirls' Basic Camisole

I read a ton of reviews... And it doesn't seem to shrink in the wash/dryer, thankfully. However, it looked small/rather short for the size indicated right out of the bag. Usually Children's Place clothes are very consistent in their sizing and line up with other brands we buy. Our daughter is 3 1/2, 75th percentile, not chunky, not skinny - just right. She will not be able to wear these for very long if she grows as a normal rate. Also, the way they fit, the neckline doesn't lay flat. It gaps if she is doing anything other than standing straight up, shoulders wide.

These are perfect; sizing listed is not accurate. My five year old daughter is 50 Lbs. and I purchased size xs and small to test. The X-Small is listed as for a 4 year old, it fits her perfectly. The material is soft and comfortable. I purchased these to be wore under the uniform.Washes well, it did not shrink.

I love CP clothing because the sizes are generous and not cut slim and uncomfortable for self conscious preteens. My very large for her size (she is 5'3" and 120 lbs!- measurements 35, 32, 36) 10 year old typically wears a 14P in this brand but she took a growth spurt and slimmed a bit so we went with size 16 just in case. They are great, albeit somewhat large. Generous sizing rules. I do think they'd fit a woman that wears size medium as well.

I like that they are snug but soft and stretchy. Another brand I bought were so loose and fell off my daughter's shoulders and dropped in the front. These are total opposite. She wears them under shirts, dresses for an extra layer of warmth and under her Karate uniform, for modesty. And with all her moving in her Karate these under shirts offer the best stay put coverage she needed.

Bought these for my daughter to wear under "itchy" shirts and the occasional odd fitting top. They are very simple, well made and do exactly what is needed. FYI the length is overly long at first but once they've been washed and dried they seem to shrink up.

My daughter loves her tank tops. She has a few that we bought for her because she needs something light to wear under her gee for jiu jitsu. Before buying this one, all her tank tops stretched out after a few washes. I've washed this one a few times already and it hasn't faded or changed shape at all. It's comfortable and silky. Definitely will buy some more in the future.
