Cloudray 12/18mm FL50.8 & 16mm FL25.4 Laser Head With Air Assist For K40 Laser Engraver Cutter

Fit was perfect quality was absolutely stellar the value for the money was worth it. Ease of installation was there I had my 12-year-old cousin helped me do it. It worked absolutely great and it function better than stock. I loved it. Would definitely recommend to use on any K 40 laser

Works well on my Monport 40W laser using the original lens. Was easy to install and looks much better than the original. In the next version, I would put a line on the outside indicated the position of the lens.

I purchased the OMTech 40W CO2 laser engraver Cutter. After initially cutting simple cardboard and seeing it catch fire, I decided air assist is a must. Upgrading with Cloudray's Laser Head with Air Assist has made A HUGE IMPROVEMENT! HOWEVER, there were some drawbacks which I'll list below: 1) Upon receiving Cloudray's product, IT DIDN'T LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THE PHOTOS but looked exact to the one in the video. The Laser Head did NOT come with the metal clip pictured on top so I had to use the metal clip on the stock Laser Head that came with my K40. 2) For the Air assist Laser head to work properly, it needs to completely replace the old one to clear the bed/vent. That being said, IT WAS A HUGE PITA TO PULL THE STOCK LASER HEAD OFF. After struggling with it for some time, I finally resorted to using WD40 and applying tons of torque to twist the Laser Head apart from the metal plate it was sandwiching. Highly recommend unscrewing everything to separate the metal plate with the Laser Head from everything else before trying to unscrew the stock Laser Head apart. 3) STOCK K40 LENS WILL NOT FIT WITH CLOUDRAY AIR ASSIST LASER HEAD. I purchased a 18mm Lens and it works great with that.

Well made, no random chips in threads, burrs on holes, etc. Ignore silly comments about having to enlarge the mounting hole, that's user error. The head has 3 threaded parts, be sure you unscrew them all so you understand how to install. Also note it needs an 18mm lens, or 15mm with the included spacer. The standard lens in the K40's is 12mm, too small for the head, and they're usually low quality. So, you'll want to get a new lens along with this. My only minor complaint is that the screw to hold the nozzle on is a bit lame, small screwdriver needed. A thumbscrew would have been more convenient. But, that's a trivial fix.

Excellant upgrade for my K40. Fit perfectly. I used my existing 12mm lens, realligned mirror and it works great.

I 3D printed a cap for the stock K40 laser head to provide air assist. It wiggled loose and the laser cut the 3D printed cap open. I replaced the stock K40 head with the Cloudray head, tested the alignment (it was great), hooked up to the air pump and started cutting. Air assist is almost necessary. Happy I got it.

Works great on my Monport K40 laser cutter. Its well made also.

Had to buy a 18 f lens cos my 12 did not fitted, but description inform the fitting sizes

This was a gamer changer on our laser engraver. Would recommend it.

ne convient pas pour la lentille d'origine ( sur mon model du moins ) impossible de centre la lentille qui et trop petite par rapport à la bague fournie donc a moins de change la lentille vous remettrez le model d'origine Pour le moment et jusqu'au jour ou je changerai la lentille c'est un achat inutile

Not what i expected. Presure is to soft. Maybe its because of my airpomp, who knows. But its not an upgrade for my Mcgyver type airassist made out of the tip of a pen which provide a higher presure and a clean cut in one pass
