KeepCup Thermal, Reusable Stainless Steel Cup, Medium 12oz | 340mls, Alder

I have had a number of travel mugs over the years both branded (free) and purchased. I had the original little keep cup ages ago and loved it - but we were sadly parted somewhere near London when I left it on a train! I spent a long while deliberating the pros and cons of what to get - with that age old adage but cheap buy twice ringing in my ears. I decided to take the plunge and spend £30 (not cheap) on this Thermal large mug. And I am so so pleased that I did. The drinking experience (who knew that was a thing) is great - lid on or off. So much so that I now use this as my day to day mug even when at home. It comfortably holds a large caramel latte with an extra shot from my delonghi coffee machine. It even fits under the tap (just). As far as insulative performance it certainly doesn’t disappoint. I filled it with the above mentioned beverage the other morning, got into the car with the AC on full blast and it was still nice and hot 64 miles later when I finished it - that was about an hour. Really impressed. To put this into perspective it’s a third of the way from Newport, SW to Sheffield. It keeps things cold too - even in our recent heat wave a beer remains ice cold long after you would reasonably expect a beer to last (before it’s consumed) even in direct sunlight - and best of all people think you are having a coffee. No more public drinking shame. I really can’t say enough nice things about this, great quality, easy to clean and probably the nicest feeling travel mug you could imagine. Very well done keepcup!!!

Great cup. Keeps drink really warm. The plastic lid is nicer to drink out than a lot of other plastic coffee cups. Easy to clean as you can take the two parts of the lids apart and through them in the dishwasher. No metallic taste from the metal.

Great product, but with time the lead starts to leak.

My first keep cup was awesome, light & leakproof - until winter, not insulated. So I invested in this product, looks lovely, contents stay hot but....leaks. Having to use and carry in a ziplock bag. Such a shame. Wondering if I was just unlucky with a one off faulty item or Keep Cup insulated cups all leak? Update 8th Dec 2023: Saw another reviewer said same problem and supplier fixed it. Called product support and I was asked to send product detail (email info about there problem, photos, purchase date etc) i.e. work for me as customer to resolve faulty item that was not as described and is not fit for purpose. I suggested the call handler took notes as I spoke and looked the Amazon product link - nope, not interested. I then suggested it would be easier to return the faulty item to Amazon, get refund and buy from another supplier. Customer product support rep didn't seem interested or care about this at all, and said they could only id product via me not Amazon website info (includes photos, and my purchase is tracked there). So...I'm pretty underwhelmed by Keep Cup customer service / product support so far. Let's see how they respond to email... Update Feb 2024 - Customer Services promptly responded to my additional info, sent generous voucher which I used to purchase two new cups anbd both are awesome i.e. utterly leak proof & totally fit for purpose (and very cool looking). My advice is....purchase Keep Cup products direct from supplier website rather than via platform / 3rd party. Review rating changed from one star to four (not five due to the intermediary faffing around)

Great quality, easy to clean, keeps drink hot for a really long time. The best reusable cup I have had, by a really long way. Would recommend.

Loved it. Worth the money, though not cheap I know. Jesus coffee warm for an hour no problem - I've forgotten a take away coffee and come back literally an hour later and continued drinking it. Also had the best drinking home of any take away cup I've tried, at it's most like a traditional take away cup. Great!

It does part of its job well (keeps stuff hot), but the lid is useless. I've got plastic and glass KeepCups and the lids on those are good enough to (mostly) save you even if you knock the cup over. But the lid on this one doesn't sit tightly enough to be leak or even splash proof. Even gentle motion caused by walking makes liquid splash out and down the sides of the cup. And when just sat on my desk the tea inside somehow manages to leak out, leaving a puddle of tea around the base of the cup. Not sure how a brand that's so good at making cups could have got something so basic so wrong. Looking at the other reviews, it sounds like I'm not alone either.

Packaging was simple and recyclable, easy to keep clean and maintain, no complex parts to disassemble and reassemble, I use this keep cup for work and it keeps drinks hot for a few hours , I have not tried cold drinks, no issues with leaks, the cup does not get hot to the touch which is great. Easy to drink out of and no odd transfer tastes. Wish I have bought one sooner.

Really like this, can only say good things. nice to drink out of, good seal on lid, nice drinking shape on lid. Great colours. This replaced my very original keep cup which had finally seen better days.

The item was as described but it took 6 weeks to be delivered. Not food enough

Winter is here but you can have this anytime of the year. It’s great to have takeaway coffees and hot chocolate.

Der Becher ist perfekt. Aufgrund der Größe passt er dorthin, wo andere Becher zu groß sind. Die Deckellösung (variable Öffnungen) sind ideal für Strohhalme.

It keeps coffee hot, and it is not cheaply made. The lid doesn't acquire a bad smell like previous KeepCups. The lid is fairly easy to clean, and doesn't have nooks that cannot be cleaned unlike other lids. It is not leak proof, but it is better than a paper cup lid.
