Bioguard Surgical Hand Gel Pump Dispenser 500ml

Although I bought a bottle of this gel back in March, I have only unwrapped it to use today (June). As I took it out of its plastic bag I thought I noticed something black in it. Sure enough, right in the middle, there is a dead aphid (black fly). No mistake, the bottle is unopened and there it is, I have taken photos.This stuff is supposed to be for cleansing your hands. How clean is it if it contains dead flies?

I've been using this for years, it's extremely easy to use from the dispenser and leaves my hands sanitised and feeling refreshed and moisturised. The high alcohol content is what it is - it's effective but even though the smell fades extremely quickly it might not be what you want. I hardly notice it now, and it certainly doesn't leave my hands raw or irritated. I have sensitive skin and use it daily. The only reason I'm leaving this review is that I noticed when I came to buy some more that there were a couple of customers complaining that the product no longer contained aloe vera and was leaving their hands in a poor state. I too noticed that the bottle had changed, however the product definitely does still contain aloe vera - it's listed right there in the ingredients as aloe barbadensis. I can only surmise that either there was a very temporary change in ingredients or that someone has had rather an unfortunate nocebo reaction. Regardless, as of the 15th of July 2018 this product does indeed contain aloe Vera, so not to worry!

I've bought a lot of this over the years for both home and work as it was absolutely excellent, however it seems it has been rebranded and reformulated to remove the added moisturisers and aloe vera which were a big part of its selling point. An interesting move. I won't be buying again.

Ordered 500ml pump bioguard as pictured and received 500ml dispenser that you would need to buy a wall bracket to use. You have to hold it under your arm upside down and squeeze with two fingers to get anything out. Absolutely disgraceful. How are my young children meant to use this , never mind an adult!

Very pleased with this item, allows me to buy this product much cheaper than I can get similar items in the shops. I work in a school and it's absolutely filthy. I get through a lot of antibacterial gel unfortunately. I was concerned that the product would remain wet on my skin for a long time, as I need to use this product and have it dry quickly so that I can carry on with my work. It dries pretty quickly, there is a chemical smell but it is not unpleasant - it dissipates very quickly anyway. It feels pleasant on the hands and you feel clean and refreshed after using it.
