🔧 Elevate Your Construction Game with Precision!
The Drill America 3/4" Bridge/Construction Reamer is designed for aligning existing holes prior to bolt or rivet installation. Its tapered point allows for easy entry into overlapping holes, while the short length and high-speed steel construction make it ideal for use in tight spaces and a variety of materials.

This thing got the job done.
This thing got the job done. Never used one before. I needed to ream six holes on a power rack and attachments. I didn't know what to expect. I ordered it plus some cutting fluid. (Don't try it without that.) But, it cut through the steel pretty much like butter. Finished the job in five minutes. I'll never need it again and wish that I could sell it to someone.

You need a BIG drill if using with thick metal
Reamer worked perfectly on 3/8 mild steel but needed a surprising amount of power to run it. Neither 8 amp corded milwaukee or drill press wanted anything to do with it. Old school gear reduced hole hog didn't mind it though. Just had to be careful not to bind the bit and he plenty of lube. Only did 6 holes so i can't comment on longevity.

Where have these been all my life??
I had 12 chain sprockets on a 1" shaft that had a through-bolt drilled in. The hole had become worn, so I decided to drill them up from 5/16" to 3/8"and pin them with a steel roll pin. The problem was that everything had to be in alignment, which could not be done on the machine with a conventional drill bit. I thought of a standard reamer, knowing the hardened shaft would trash it quickly. Then these popped up! Not only did it perform flawlessly in alignment, but it drilled out all 12 (cast steel sprockets/hardened shafting) and wanting more! Also, as the spiral is a reverse, it pushes away the chips rather than draw it into the work and jamb it. Every shop should have these!

Works well
Good value for money. Buy 2 went dull after went thru hardened steel in 93 jeep frame. Tap it with a hammer drill bit was accurate.

Dominated installing fifth wheel hitch
Couldn’t get the holes for my new fifth wheel hitch to line up exactly. I got 7 of them myself but 3 wouldn’t go perfectly. This bit did the trick just like in the video. Totally worth the cost just for three holes because it saved SO much time! Zip and it was done.Be sure you have a drill that can take a 1/2 inch bit.

Soft, weak metal
It may be ok for light duty work, but absolutely worthless for anything more heavy duty. It could not turn one single 1/2” hole into a 3/4” on 5/16” steel plate with proper RPM and lubrication. Don’t waste your time and money on this.

Works as advertised! Thank goodness!
I had a 1/2" hole in 1/2" thick steel and I needed the hole to be 5/8". I'd already broke a drill bit trying to get 1/16" on each side oversized with a 5/8" drill bit, and it was really grabby and hard to do...so I found this reamer and went very slow with tap magic cutting fluid, and it worked like a charm.
