Put this on a 2012 mercedes GL350 diesel. It really does catch a lot of oil. Took some effort with hose fitting adapters going from metric 21mm to 15mm but eventually got it figured out. * UPDATE: 2 yrs later I’m disappointed. There is an inner cap under the screw on lid, this cap has an o-ring to seal crankcase gases in the catch can, the o-ring is 3 times undersized allowing crankcase gases to escape into the engine compartment, I’ve tried several different o-rings and still not getting it to seal

It works as it should. It didn’t come with instructions but it’s simple enough to figure out. It has an arrow for the top hose inlet.

Poorly made knockoff of a German made Provent oil catch can. Bought for my 2010 F350 6.4l diesel. All kinds of loose plastic shaving inside unit and untrimmed plastic residue from manufacturing. Will be returning to Amazon and will buy a quality unit.

Super poor quality copy of a Provent catch can. Very flimsy, the rubbers used for the seals and diaphragm are not oil resistant and will rot/degrade almost immediately. Applied pressure and vacuum with a handheld vacuum/pressure tester and this unit does nothing to regulate crankncase pressure like the real provent does. Just another fly by night China product.

instuled leaking from breather port on the side oil every where in my engine bay bad product may have been damaged .
