Very well packaged. Arrived as expected. My 85 yrs mother has been using this product for a few years. This year she had her yearly eye appointment. Dr after the exam requested for her to use this product. With a smile we were able to let him know that my mother had already been taking 2 a day. Perfect combination of ingredients. Convenient. Easy to swallow. Only need 2 per day. I take it for wet AMD (adult-onset macular degeneration) to help stabilize symptoms.

My eye doctor recommended I take AREDS 2 vitamins daily due to ARMD, so this isn’t an optional supplement for me. I’ve been taking them consistently, and according to my eye doctor, my ARMD has not progressed. That’s the most important thing to me. Of course, no one can say with certainty what’s responsible in any individual case, but I’m happy to continue taking something that is recommended and has been part of keeping my condition stable. My two complaints are the price and the size of the softgels. They’re a bit larger than I’d like, especially when you’re taking them every single day. I really wish they came in a smaller size or were a little easier to swallow. They’re also fairly expensive when you know they’ll be a permanent part of your budget. Even with those drawbacks, I keep them on Subscribe & Save because, for me, the benefits outweigh the negatives. Four stars.
