It works. Great convinience! If it lasts a year I will get my money worth.
Pros: Works a little better than competition with iPhone 7. Slightly faster charging. Smaller connector does not stick out of the case bottom. I forgot about wired charger. It gets me through the day using Waze and Pandora with wireless charging in the car driving couple of hours a day.Cons: Some wireless transmitters have to be aligned precisely with this receiver +/- 1/8" otherwise no charge possible. This is not really a con of this receiver but iPhone sometimes says this accessory might not be supported and stops the charge when signal is too weak. Same thing happened with the other manufacturer I tried. You have to take it out and put back in to re initiate charging. I believe this is iPhone design or some artificial or natural bug in the software to push you to buy iPhone 8 instead.Another Con - the connector is metallic color and not black. I have to use magic marker to keep it from shining out of my black iPhone case. But that is a minor thing

Works only for the first couple of days.
After three days of light use (only in my car as that's where my wireless charger) and by the third day it was making my iPhone 7 was heating up excessively. The excessive heating caused the charger to turn off automatically and disabled the charger.

Useless
Very Bad product, Waste of time & Money.The phone shows it connected only when its in the perfect position and even when the phone shows charging, after 6 hrs i found out that its just shows its charging but it actually isn't charging.

UPDATE: Shortly after i posted my original review, Laniakea contacted me and offered full refund. Great customer service, honestly. Appreciate their commitment to satisfaction, and have changed my opinion about the brand.ORIGINAL: Bought in early January (along with SurgeDisk SD180 dock). Worked great for 2 months. Then started intermittently randomly not working for the last month. By the 3 months, stopped working entirely (it was NOT abused in any way, just fixed to the back of my iPhone 6 underneath the case).2 months of working as it's supposed to?...please, what a POS. I want my money back.

This works great for my iPhone 7, write out of the box. It's pretty self explanatory and was a very quick installation. Nothing you need to stress about. It's pretty amazing, going wireless, and I was pretty excited to try it out. I have a plastic phone case over my phone also, and it still charges. I can't say how well it works for thick leather or metal cases though. I'm pretty satisfied and will probably buy one for my fiance also.My only advice: Keep in mind that if you give it no cushion/slack (the ribbon), you won't be able to take it out to charge in other ways such as portable charges or at someone else's house. I learned the hard way, so plan ahead.

but not good results. I can't get it to charge through ...
I am trying to use this in my Toyota Tacoma with my Iphone 6s, but not good results. I can't get it to charge through my Tech21 case or so I thought. To experiment and see if the case was the issue I took it off and placed it in the tray without the case and it lit for about three percent charge and then stopped charging. After moving it around thinking it was in need of alignment I finally got it to start up again but soon stopped. Now I can't get it to charge at all. Conclusion; I don't know if my case is an issue at all or I have a defective unit Because I'm still encountering issues without the case on.

DO NOT BEND
Very fragile. Accidentally snapped one of these while removing it from its packaging. It still worked but it was VERY spotty for receiving power and would often fall in and out of charging. Bought another and handled more carefully during installation, works a LOT better than the one I snapped. No external damage is visible but I heard and felt it snap inside the casing. Treat this very gently. DO NOT BEND. Think potato chip.

It worked really well for about 2 weeks, then ...
It worked really well for about 2 weeks,then out of no where it stopped working and does not charge my phone anymore. it will still make the charging pad light up but does not send a charge to my phone. Kinda disappointing spending the money on something that broke so quickly.
