Since I purchsed this from Amazon the pills hv changed. There is no plastic coating on the pill & it has a bitter taste! It does work but thinking of contacting the co.

I had a health practitioner recommend this product to me for digestive issues. I have been using them for over a year. I really like how they support digestion. They are easy to take capsules, and I had no issues taking them with meals.

These were recommended awhile back through a Naturopath that I had seen who carries a majority of Nature's Sunshine Products and a few scattered miscellaneous other company products. I purchased these but didn't take them regularly and when they ran out I didn't replace them. Lately I had been having a considerable amount of digestive issues. I have had my gallbladder out 18 years ago and I'm not sure if that really impacted my digestion. I was diagnosed with GERDS years ago and at one point was on a regime of three different potent medications and my B-12 levels dropped considerably. I realized that I was not absorbing my vitamins due to all these GERDS medications so I weaned myself off of them. I take Ranitidine as needed now. But, I still suffer terribly from Lactose intolerance and carry around a bottle of lactaid pills, I also suffer from bloating, abdominal pain, and constipation (the last part since I was a child). I have always taken something to remain "regular" whether it be Metamucil or the cheap brand of magnesium (Oxide) at night. Well since starting Nature's Sunshine's Food Enzymes and being diligent about taking two before every meal, I can say that these have helped me tremendously with bloating, pain and regularity (the last part a very pleasant surprise, I no longer need Metamucil or magnesium oxide). I still take my Lactaid pills for dairy products and I do realize the ingredients in these Food Enzyme capsules have "Lipase (contains milk lactose)" but it doesn't bother me like milk or ice cream does. So overall I am quite surprised and pleased at how well these work for me and I now carry a bottle in my purse so I'm not without them if I eat out. I highly recommend giving them a try!
