Just got it a few days ago, but I have still been using it a lot. There were a few things I noticed that I thought I might wanna point out. 1. It's not silent, it's very quiet, but not as quiet as the OEM one. It's about as loud as dropping a memory foam pillow onto a carpet. 2. Oddly enough it's less of a furnace, it heats up the room a little bit less than my old one, no clue why but I like it. 3. Shipped really fast and worked perfectly for my Xbox one, and I'm really happy with my purchase.

In my situation, I wanted to be able to easily transport my Xbox One between rooms without having to lug along the bulky power supply that accompanies it. After searching around on the Internet, most official power supplies were quite expensive. For $25.00, I thought I would give this a try, especially considering it was only going to be used occasionally. There's not too much to say about it honestly...it works and hasn't fried my Xbox. I had read some reviews that mentioned it's louder than the original power supply. That is true...there is a fan that kicks in when the unit is connected to the Xbox One and it's powered on (or in sleep mode). For me, since I only use this power supply for one sitting at a time, it doesn't matter, but for others who are going to use it as their primary power supply, it's definitely worth noting. If 's going to be in a cabinet or behind some things you might not hear it, but it is noticeable.

Most importantly, this fixes your dead brick with the orange light. I had tried many times unsuccessfully to use that quick fix found on YouTube. While that worked in the short term, my brick eventually went solid orange and would not return. I ordered this and received it THE SAME DAY. That was fantastic. Super fast shipping. This fits the original XBOX ONE. Connection was quick and easy. It was as simple as it was to disconnect the OEM model. Package includes the brick, power cable and cable connecting to the XBOX ONE. Connected and powered up my XBOX ONE on the first try. I've turn it on and off several times without issue. One note, this model IS BY NO MEANS QUIET. It is louder than the original. Noise is about equivalent to a small computer fan. I definitely can hear it and it can be a little annoying at first, but eventually you forget about it. 4/5 stars. it performs as advertised but is definitely NOT QUIET. Hopefully, I won't have to buy it again, but so far so good.

Worked for about 6-8 weeks, then died. Had this happen twice now, so seems to be an ongoing issue.. worked beautifully while it worked though! Just a little noisy is all. Update - my most recent one lasted almost exactly a year, but has died yet again. In less than two years, I have had 3 die now.. It always seems to know when my trucker husband is home though, because every time it has died has been while he had just gotten home or was about to get home for much needed and long overdue home time.. Update # 2 - Power supply number 4 from this company has lasted two weeks before having overheating issues and shuts itself off after 30-60 minutes of gaming. No issues when streaming, only the heavier load of gaming.. Another update: I no idea what number I'm on at this point, but the company refuses to honor the warranty stated, they only tell me to go through Amazon for replacement (which Amazon won't do because it's been too long). If the customer service was better and they actually honored their warranty, it might be worth it, but they're rude and won't honor their agreements.

I bought this product because the orginial power cord to my husband's Xbox began messing up. It would cause the Xbox to randomly shut off but would power back on as soon as it would shut off. When we received the product first thing I noticed is how similar the design was to the original. The cord fit nicely with the Xbox one. It was ready to use straight out of the packaging. Right away we noticed it corrected the problem with the Xbox shutting off. My husband has the Xbox hooked up through the tv so it constantly is running so the power cord holds up really well. I recommend this to anyone who is in search of a new Xbox one power cord and at a great price you can't beat it.

My Xbox One is used almost daily, and as intended, it is always on 24-hours a day. The fan on my original Xbox One AC adapter became noisy. When I set up my Xbox One originally, I did not realize the AC adapter had a cooling fan inside it. I placed the AC adapter on carpet, which may have blocked part of the vents and contributed to the fan failure. I replaced the original AC adapter with this version on 2/17/2016. This time I placed the AC adapter on a solid surface, to make sure it had sufficient ventilation. This AC adapter worked great as a replacement... until it didn't. On 8/19/2016--just over six months after I purchased it--it quit working. The first sign the AC adapter was failing was when my Xbox One began to spontaneously hard shutdown while I was playing a game. When I restarted my Xbox One and relaunched the game, my system would again hard shutdown. I initially thought the game itself was crashing my Xbox One or that there could be an issue with my external hard drive. I made several configuration changes, first deleting and reinstalling the game and then reinstalling the game on the internal hard drive. Regardless of the setup, when I began playing the game, my Xbox One would hard shutdown. After this occurred perhaps six times, when I attempted to turn my Xbox One back on, it would now stay on for only about two seconds before turning itself back off. It had been only about 24 hours from when my Xbox One first hard shutdown, and now my Xbox One would not stay on at all. I began to suspect the issue was the AC adapter. To confirm, I took my Xbox One and AC adapter to a friend's house, where he also has an Xbox One. Using my AC adapter, his Xbox One also turned off after only two seconds, and my Xbox One functioned normally when using his working AC adapter. Even at about one-third the cost of the Microsoft-branded power supply, this is not a good deal if six months is the useful life of this product. UPDATE: 8/19/2016 Within 30 minutes of posting the above review about my negative experience along with a one-star rating, the seller contacted me and offered to send a new replacement AC adapter. When I receive the new AC adapter, I will provide additional feedback and update the star rating. UPDATE: 8/23/2016 The new AC adapter arrived as promised. It is now hooked up and working. I have updated the star rating to five stars based on the speedy customer service to get my system working again. I will continue to monitor the performance of this AC adapter, and I will update this post again if I experience issues. UPDATE: 9/12/2017 The replacement AC adapter began failing today. It is behaving in a similar manner to the original failure. The Xbox One will stay on when watching television, but when I attempt to play a game, the Xbox One immediately powers off. I have reduced my rating to three stars. I understand that electronics have a limited lifespan, but while I feel a little better about this product with the replacement adapter lasting for just over a year, this time span still feels too short for running an Xbox One designed to last for many years.

Perfect! This replaced my Xbox One power supply cord which had stopped working and would only stay on after being unplugged replugged after turning off for around a few seconds at one point. This one works great, and I have no problems with it at all! Thank you for getting me my Xbox One back after about a week of not working! This one also shipped and arived to me very fast, and on time! This one is also a lot cheaper than buying a branded one from Microsoft, which is about twice as much! Thank you is all I have to say!

Works perfectly for original Xbox Ones. My son's Xbox One stopped working. My husband was convinced that it needed to be sent off for repairs, but I remembered a previous occasion when the power turned off during a storm and one if our Xbox power supplies quit working for a while. Having one Xbox One S and one original Xbox One we couldn't switch out power supplies to check. I decided to order this just to see if it fixed the problem before sending the Xbox off for repairs. It solved the problem! Work's great; we've had no issues 4 months later.
