Fresh Dog Clean Mouth Water Additive for Dogs & Cats, 16-Ounce

I have a 13 (14 in August) year old Beagle mix who will not let me brush her teeth, it's ugly to even try and not fun for either of us. This product certainly did not clean her teeth bright white and shiny but the improvement is quite good. Her teeth were brown and her breath was really bad. At her age, I don't care if her teeth fall out, we'll switch to wet food and keep going, but I was concerned about infection. I've been adding this to her water daily and she doesn't seem to notice the taste. It also hasn't bothered her stomach which was another concern. Her teeth are now fairly clean with some yellow to them but her breath is so much better and I don't worry about her getting an infection in her mouth. I think if you use this on a younger dog, it will prevent the buildup in the first place but it really did an unbelievable job on the old girl's teeth!

this product is AMAZING!!! I recently rescued a dog, and even though he's only about 2 yrs old, he has some plaque on his teeth and very bad breath. Every time he'd look at me and breathe in my face, I'd immediately turn my face away and gasp for air. I started putting the recommended amount in his water, and I noticed a big difference in ONE DAY. His breath barely even smells at all now, it's totally tolerable, and the plaque seems to be a little less on his teeth. I was afraid he wouldn't drink his water with this added, but he doesn't seem to mind it too muchI highly recommend this and will continue to buy for the lifespan of my dog. I'm happy to have found a product that neither my dog nor my cat seem to notice in the water (since they like to share the same bowl). I have not been giving it to them long enough to tell how it affects tartar/plaque build-up, but I can say that their breath does not smell, so that is great! if you have a finicky dog or cat, I'd recommend trying this product to help with bad breath. My cat is very picky, so I have fought that battle myself :-)

I like the concept, and it did work some. I have some big dogs and their breath has always been bad, and I thought this was be a good way of helping their bad breath. Their breath did get better using this, but not as good as I was hoping. Still, it is a good product.

I have used this for my two dogs for over a year. I am hoping it works, but, of course, there is no actual scientific data to prove it. I will, however, keep buying it.

We have three dogs in our house, 2 having pretty bad breath even with regular dental cleanings. I also use Fresh Dog's shampoo and conditioner and love those, so I figured I'd give the mouth stuff a try. It works! I no longer cringe when my dogs want to get close to my face and breathe. :) We only put a few drops in each bowl of water too. The first bowl, all 3 were a little hesitant to drink, but they got over it fast. I'm definitely buying this again.

I'm not sure how this stuff is doing at freshening breath (my cat still has rot breath) but sure keeps water clean in the dish for much longer than it would last otherwise. Also, my cat seems to love it and now he drinks alot more water which is a plus for his health.

This additive works to freshen dog breath when used daily. It doesn't seem to taste bad, as my dog still drinks her water as usual. However, this must be used every day to work, as it doesn't have lasting effects. Overall, would recommend for fresh dog breath, but make sure you use daily!

Ich habe nicht dass Problem, dass die Hunde das Wasser nicht trinken, wenn ich das Mittel dem Wasser zugebe. Vielleicht ist es von Hund zu Hund verschieden. Ich habe auf jeden Fall das Gefühl, dass die Hunde es nicht merken.Das Mittel finde ich ziemlich gut. Da ich sehr kleine Hunde habe, gestaltet sich Zähneputzen eher schwierig und wenn ich spiezielles Pulver mit ins Essen gebe, rühren die Hunde dies nicht an. Dieses Mittel vertragen sie sehr gut und haben seitdem kaum noch Mundgeruch und weniger bzw. kaum Verfärbungen auf den Zähnen.Für Hunde, die sich die Zähne nicht putzen lassen, finde ich ist dies eine gute Alternative.

Leider tolerieren unsere Tiere diesen Wasser-Zusatz nicht. Fresh Dog Clean ist offenbar nicht geschmacksneutral. Dafür das ich das Zeug wegkippen musste, ist es zu teuer. Dann doch lieber die grüne Flasche, die doppelt so teuer ist, aber von den Tieren angenommen wird. Schade :((
