Don't Die, My Love

When I first read about this book, I saw how much people were raving over it so out of curiosity, bought it and well of course read it!In the beginning it's a typical high school love story, but throughout the book, it grows into something much more than that because of Luke's illness. I can't say how many times I had to put down the book for a couple of minutes to compose myself. This book had me in tears throughout the entire story. Their love was just amazing and would make anyone want that type of love! And the way Julie never gave up on Luke was just beautiful. It was beyond emotional, but it was worth all the tears I shed. After I finished the the book, I had to mourn because of how realistic this book was and how heartbroken I was because of what happens to Luke. All in all, I loved this story! And I recommend it to anyone. :)

I have cried through every chapter extremely well written. I brings the characters to life so much love and tragedy 💔

This book might seem a little boring at the beginning, but its actually really great. It's touching story about 2 teenagers in love. Luke has had a crush on Julie since they were little and finally in high school they are dating. They are deeply in love. Julie notices how Luke seems sick a lot and so she makes him go see a doctor. Luke gives in to see a doctor, he finds out that he has a tumor and has to go on chemo. Julie sticks by his side no matter what.-This book is better than "A Walk To Remember", which I didn't really like, but the book is better then the movie version at least.-Lurlene McDaniel is truly a wonderful author, who has written many touching books about life/reality of those that face unfair life-alternating situations.

Good book just sad

What a book?! Some says that good books are those with a happy ending. I'd say great books are those who will capture your heart regardless of the outcome of the story. After reading this book, i learned that love between two people is real and will continue even if only one's heart is beating.

This was the first young adult (romance) book that read when I was in 6th grade. I could not put it down and still remember the emotions that I felt when I first read it. Lifetime made a movie in the 90s but it is nothing like the book. Now, I have a 12 year old who has started reading romance books. I immediately thought of this book and I’m so glad I was able to find it. I can't wait to get her opinion.

This is a book I plan on reading over and over again. I love love stories and its an easy read. The end is the best and it makes me cry every time. Cant wait to read it again.
