Diamine - Sheen Fountain Pen Ink, Holly, 50ml, Inkvent

This is a wonderful ink for Christmas Cards. It's a green ink that starts out looking dark with some shading. But if you hold the paper up so light bounces off the ink at something of an oblique angle, as the ink dries its red sheen will start popping out. Some reviewers elsewhere describe it like holly berries on a holly bush - especially with the dots on 'I's or full stops (periods) at the end of sentences. A word of caution, this is not a water resistant ink, so be careful to keep any drops from hitting the ink. And shake the bottle gently before filling your pen to make sure the sheening dye agent is thoroughly mixed in as you fill.

Love the ink! I'd call the sheen a bit more magenta than red. But it still reads christmas-y if you want it to be. I added a bit of "chameleon forest magic" mica for some green shimmer and it's more like what i expected emeraude de chivor to be (more green, less turquoise, and with more shimmer), so that's a tip if you're looking for a comparable ink.

Ein relativ nass fließendes, dunkleres Grün. Ab sofort mein Standard in meinem grün gestreiften Pelikan M800 / Feder "B". Für mich ein "must have".

Stupendo verde scuro, fluente, dalla veloce asciugatura. Diamine fa ottimi prodotti a ottimi prezzi. Peccato non si possano far arrivare in lock, ma pazienza.
