It took a little big of fiddling to get my geode in there but it looks great!! I’m going to buy more for my other ones to be displayed now.

Love this specimen stand! It's so pretty, and reasonably priced. I'm using to to display a piece of selenite we collected. I will mention, the finials on the end of each rod are threaded and will screw off themselves. That was unexpected and made creating the right tension to hold the stone a little tricky. But once I figured that part out everything worked great!

Looks like better quality in the photos but it’s cheaply made. The soft pads don’t do anything. They got squeezed in when inserting my sphere. One of the twist caps came loose when trying to tighten the arms on to the sphere. Not worth the $15 in my opinion. This isn’t heavy either so I don’t know how well it would do with a specimen that’s more than a couple of ounces.

it didn’t work for the megladon tooth i wanted to display, but i just used it for another of my 400 crystals and then ordered a bigger one. it’s not the sturdiest thing in the world, but if you’re careful and move slow and steady you can get a pretty tight fit around the crystal. (i found it easier to tighten in my hand than when it’s standing). it really attracts attention and provides a much better presentation than when this was just sitting on my counter.

This caliper stand is great! The only semi-negative I can think of is the functionality of the little foam pads that protect the rock from the metal caliper stand. The foam is not thick or sturdy enough to hold the rock and keep the metal from scraping the rock. This stand is a super cool looking way to display a favorite crystal.

I originally ordered this for my dad's birthday, but after seeing how cool his is I ordered it for myself! This is the medium size and looks substantial enough on the shelf without being too tall. If you have small rocks (like the ones you typically find) this might not cinch small enough, but for my purposes works great!

The media could not be loaded.  Would have liked to put a larger sphere in, but this works fine. Yup i would buy again though.

The title of the review pretty much covers everything. It is the epitome of - you get why you pay for.
