⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've used this balaclava in cold and windy weather, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. It does a great job of keeping the wind off your face while also keeping your ears, neck, and head warm without feeling bulky. One thing I really like is how comfortable it is. I can wear it for hours without it getting irritating or feeling too tight. The material is soft, breathes well, and fits nicely under a hood or helmet. If you're outside working, hiking, riding a motorcycle, hunting, skiing, or just dealing with cold weather, this is definitely worth picking up. It's well made, comfortable enough to wear all day, and keeps you warm when the wind really starts blowing. Highly recommended!

About me: - 5'7" tall - 7 1/4 hat size - I heat up generally quickly. My threshold for cold is around 35F. Above this and I don't need gloves, layers, or a hat, sometimes will run in shorts - Bought this balaclava for running in winters in central NY Size: For me, the size is somewhat large. As it is a spandex material it doesn't move around too much and still does its job, although there is some bunching and play in positioning. It still covers my face as expected and stays in place. Obviously it needs to accommodate much larger people and their freakish heads so not a big deal Warmth: I have worn this in temperatures ranging from 15F - 40F so far this year, with and without wind and sun. I find that the heat I generate is more than enough to keep me warm when I wear this. Wind does not penetrate it, and it can be worn with another beanie on top. Because it can be comfortably worn in multiple configurations it easily adapts to my body condition and changing weather. The material feels like a thin fleece in some areas and your typical underarmour wicking fabric in others. The combination works very well for me to allow my body temperature to be easily regulated. Breathing: The material where your mouth goes is thin for ventilation. It is thick enough to prevent the lung burn when running in temperatures in the high teens for sure. It does take a little getting used to, but I do not have any issues with getting the air I need to when running. Breathing does not feel obstructed Sweat: I always wear a hat since I hate sweat in my eyes. The balaclava actually does a good job of wicking sweat away so that it does not run down my face. I have worn a nike running hat and visor underneath, but find that it isn't totally necessary for me Sunglasses: Yes, they will probably fog up on you. I run with a pair of Oakley Half Jacket sunglasses. There are some ways I can manipulate my breathing, sunglasses, and balaclava to prevent fogging or minimize it, but it does happen This is my first balaclava and overall I am satisfied enough with it that I don't feel it's worth the effort to continue shopping around.

This is the best winter face mask I’ve ever owned. It is very breathable, I never felt like I was being smothered. It fits very well and is stretchy and comfy. It’s lightweight but warm, I definitely recommend this mask!

I was eyeing this product for a year while researching which balaclava would be the most ideal for skiing. This is not it. While it is definitely warm, it does not form a fit to my face well. If I tried to adjust and pull it down, the top portion is too thick to breathe through. My eyeglasses fogged up immediately. Once the goggles were on, I could not see or breathe. I ended up pulling it all the way down to expose my face.

Honestly, wasn't sure one this one due to the low price but I am blown away by the performance. I work outside year round in northern US where it reaches ambient temps of -20 Fahrenheit with a real feel of -50 or colder woth wind. This blocks the wind and I rarely notice the cold on my neck and face. My only complaints doesn't reflect on the balaclava at all just my nose holds it too far from my face to seal properly, would work amazing if you're wearing goggles or something to force it to your face better. 10/10 would recommend and have recommend it to my boss to be a part of our normal provided winter PPE

Love it! I run outside a lot in winter and find it extremely comfortable. A big plus is the ability to pull it down so you get a drink or just get air if you are hot. Highly recommended to anyone doing activities in cold
