Very good product
Great crafting wax. It's not very sticky, so you don't feel like you're going to get stuck on everything, it's got a vibrant yellow color, it comes in a good size, though for big projects you might need more than one order. It's easy to use, though it can be a little hard to mold at times.

Wow. Pleasantly surprised. Nice block of beeswax- smells good and is pliable like real beeswax. I will buy again. Thanks!

Great Beeswax, Just Smaller Than Expected
The Alternative Imagination 100% Pure Beeswax Bar (1 oz) is excellent in qualityโclean, natural, and perfect for DIY projects, candle making, or conditioning wood and leather. It melts and works beautifully without any weird additives. My only drawback is the size. This tiny 1-ounce bar is much smaller than I expected, so itโs easy to go through quickly if youโre using it regularly or for multiple projects. Itโs perfect for testing or small tasks, but if you need a larger amount, youโll likely have to buy several. Overall, great beeswax and very pureโjust wish it came in a slightly bigger size.

Multi-use product; inexpensive and nontoxic!
I purchased an ounce of this product three years ago with the intention of learning bookbinding. The beeswax works beautifully for waxing a linen thread for binding, and lasts a long time. Now, three years later, I am helping an aging relative with cleaning up her apartment. She asked me to apply WD40 to loosen up some ancient sticky painted wooden drawers. I have heard makers on Youtube exclaim their extreme dislike of WD40, so I experimented with the beeswax. To my surprise, the first thing I noticed is it was not rancid even after three years sitting in a box in my studio! The next thing I noticed is the lack of resistance or squeaking on her drawers! A week later, we both noticed they seemed to get better with use! As for my bookbinding efforts, life has brought new challenges and focuses, and I am still using my tried and true pamphlet stitch. But learning the coptic stitch remains a goal! TL; dr: I recommend having a chunk of this stuff in your โjunk drawer,โ especially if the drawer squeaks. The uses will reveal themselves over time, and the product will (hopefully!) still be fresh after three years. Reader, good luck to you in your endeavors!

Perfect for diamond painting!
This is my new favorite wax for diamond painting! I've been struggling to find a good wax for multi placers, especially the really large ones that are longer than a square or heart of wax. I tried one from Etsy, but didn't have good results. The blue wax works really well, but I find it annoying to try and get it evenly into the larger multi placers. But this beeswax works perfectly! Now I'm using it with all my tips. You just scrape it into the tip, scrape off any excess, and it just works! It might be a little too sticky at first, but that quickly goes away as you use it, and I haven't had any issues when refreshing the wax (as opposed to the first time filling each tip). It's really easy to use and makes a really satisfying clicking/popping sound as you place the drills. And it smells nice!

no string floral smell
nice small bars for easy melting. no smell other than bees wax! I seem to sometimes order beeswax, and it comes through with a really strong floral smell, like maybe it is stored with some fragrance type products.
