D'Addario Pro-Winder Guitar String Winder Tool, White

Kind of a no brainer accessory for me. If you’re a remotely serious player, you should have one of these. I like it so much a bought a second one to keep in my gig bag. Having the winder and string cutter in one simple tool is really convenient and it just works well.

Greatest little tool ever! This incredibly well designed tool makes the job of changing strings on an acoustic guitar or mandolin so much easier it's practically something to look forward to. ;-) Well, maybe not exactly all that, but it is much easier with this handy and affordable device. Not only is it the greatest little tool ever, it's also affordable enough that I bought one for my guitar and each of my mandolins, kept in their hard case storage compartments so I'm not frantically searching for the only one I have when a string breaks at the worst possible moment in a place maybe far from home. No more pliers scratching up my finish either, trying to get that one recalcitrant pin out that's in there for the duration... the one my 4 year old nephew mashed in with the cute little hammer from the kiddie toolbox their loving uncle got them for Christmas. ;-) Recommended.

Picked this up when I bought a new capo from D'Addario. I've been using their strings for a bit so why not add their tool too? This replaces a few tools that have seen better days and it's small enough to stow in the guitar case. The snippers aren't super easy to use, but they're functional enough and I don't need to worry about pinching fingers. I like the addition of the bridge pin remover, too. A useful little tool.

Great tool to have on the road or at a gig. Well made and makes changing strings much faster.

A distanza di 8 anni dall'acquisto, posso dire che questo avvolgicorde è perfetto, punto. In quanto liutaio lo uso praticamente tutti i giorni e non mi ha mai deluso. Un mese fa ha iniziato a "scricchiolare" dall'usura, ma è bastato aggiungere una piccola guarnizione di gomma alla base della testa rotativa ed ora è come nuovo. La pinza taglia le corde senza problemi, e nonostante non mi sia mai fidato del tutto dell'estremità in plastica che serve a rimuovere i piroli sulle chitarre acustiche (essendo in plastica ho sempre pensato potesse abbandonarmi da un momento all'altro), è ancora perfetto e funzionale come il primo giorno. Acquisto fondamentale e azzeccatissimo.

Got a Lil worri3d when I saw the negative reviews but it works perfectly with the screw intact.
