Transported a carsickness-prone rescue dog (Lab), and of course he barfed all over the back seat of my car. Not that I minded, because he didn't barf all over the back seat itself: he barfed all over the Lassie car seat cover. The car seat cover is easy to install and remove as needed. There are cut-outs for the seat belt connections equipped with velcro, so you can either seal them entirely, if you're not using the seat belt, or make a partial seal if you only want to have the seat belt link available but avoid anything getting through onto the seat. (Helpful if you know you're dealing with a carsickness-prone dog.) The side panels make a satisfactory protection for the door panels unless your dog is absolutely determined to get to the window. The front panel protects the backs of the front seats. There was no leakage, despite the fact that the dog had apparently had a very large breakfast and drunk a lot of water, to boot. I found the cover easy to clean--just squirted some dishwashing liquid on it, hosed it down and did a bit of light sponge scrubbing in a couple of the stitched areas. You wouldn't know it had been used at all. I offered to transport the carsick Lab again whenever needed, but as it happens, he was adopted in pretty short order. I hope the adopters have one of these Lassie car seat protectors. P.S. It also works for schnauzers who don't get carsick, but who have been out in the rain, poodles who for some reason think mud puddles are their personal playgrounds, and mixed breeds who sit in the back seat eating crunchy treats that leave lots of crumbs or drooling over their chew toys.

I bought this because my dog sometimes would fall into the footwell even when I secured her with the leash. I usually would just put down a blanket on the seat and secure her with a leash to her harness. I put off getting one of these cuz I thought it was just a waste of money. But honestly I was so wrong. This completely protects the back seat of the car and the backs of the driver and passenger seat. I like this one because it has a little mesh window between the two front seats so that my dog can still see me or my passenger and also feel the air from the AC. I like how the sides by the doors zip up to fully and close the area. Best of all I don't have to worry about her slipping down into the footwell if I have to slow down too quickly. The pockets that are built into it are perfect to put a few essentials like a water bottle a little bowl maybe some dog bags or an extra leash. My dog really loved it and I think she felt more secure the way that it was completely surrounding her. I definitely should have bought this sooner. It was really easy to set up maybe about 5 minutes. I've only had it for a day so far but to me it seems like very good quality and will probably last a very long time. My dog doesn't scratch or chew at it so that's not an issue for me. Do yourself a favor and get one of these if you don't have one already you'll be glad you did. And when it's not in use you can just fold it up and put it in the trunk. For reference this is in the backseat of my 2016 Toyota Prius.

We don't have dogs anymore but do use a Lassie sling to protect the backseat of the car from wear and tear cause by putting stuff in the back seat instead of the trunk. I have used similar products before but they only lasted a few years before the materials started to breakdown. This item is made of better materials and has better workmanship than the previous sling. We liked the first one so much that we purchased another one for our sedan. The assembly quality was just as good as the first one. When not in use it folds up cleanly into a reasonable size that won't fill up your trunk. The thing is made from a quilted material that adds protection and a little padding to increase the protection of the seat under the sling. It fits our Subaru Outback fine. A good feature of this particular item is that the flaps can be tucked under the cover or zipped up to form a padded box. I keep one side with the flap up and the other zippered. Would I recommend it? Most definitely. For Pets? Most definitely. Would I buy it again? Yes we bought it twice

I like the light color so it doesn't get hot for the dog. Fits perfect my subaru outback. I only have a couple complaints but that is only because i am comparing it to one we bought for our truck a couple years ago. And would have bought a sedan sizes unit if that supplier/seller still had these available. The pockets area great idea and i used them all the time but this unit the narrow pocket i find to narrow does not hold the dog water bottle, which my old one held. And honestly find it to narrow to get my hand into to try and use for smaller items. One would need to have small petite hands, which i do not to be able to get things out of small pocket. But the larger pocket is good, holds the collapsible dog bowl. I think the vented area between the 2 front row seats is a great idea. Wish this unit had a zipper, so i could zip or unzip if i needed to reach back to the dog. My previous truck one had this, and i searched all over to find others that had this feature and could not find it anymore on these covers. Great product, just areas of improvement for more user friendliness

My frenchie loves to sit up front with me, but I knew I needed to find a safe solution and this was perfect! It was extremely easy to set up, and my frenchie got used to it very quickly! One time we got caught in a rain storm and the dog seat got very muddy from her, but I put it in the washer on delicates and it’s back to looking brand new! Definitely recommend to keep your pup and your car protected and safe!

I bought this in light gray so it would not attract the sun's rays so much as darker colors get very hot in the Summer. Fit's my Hyundai Elantra perfectly. Feels well made and easy to install, I like that it has anchors. I am not using it as the main car seat for my pups. I installed a car seat on top of this for my little fur girl and using a crash tested travel harness for my bigger boy. I wanted this as extra protection as you can never keep your fur babies too safe! I bought all from Amazon and am very happy with my purchases. I want to mention that if this product is going to be the only car seat that you will use, it is much safer for your pooch to clip the safety strap to a harness and not a collar. Hooking to their collar will hurt their throat even from braking a little heavy. Get a sturdy travel anti pull harness in which the pooch steps into and pulls up the front legs.

This fit our Ram perfectly. It is perfect for our 2 dogs...small and medium sized. It might not be durable enough for larger dogs.

I'm pleased with this dog seat cover, its look quality, easy to put in and take out, do the work, don't become very messy straight away from my Beagle's glitter and looks classy as well.

Facile da montare, molto bello come colore soprattutto per chi ha gli interni chiari. Contiene anche due cinture color antracite per il cane e due tasche abbastanza capienti. Devo ancora utilizzarlo con la mia cagnolona ma sembra super pratico. Unica nota negativa è un forte odore di plastica/gomma, ma si può lavare fino a 40 gradi e penso lo perderà. Al di sotto ha dei piedini di gomma per non farlo scivolare, ma credo metterò una protezione ulteriore per proteggere i sedili in pelle dallo sfregamento. Come prima impressione, rispetto agli altri 2 teli avuti, questo da un maggiore senso di qualità ed è esteticamente migliore. In caso più avanti aggiornerò la recensione.
