Wahl 2-in-1 Combination Double Row Pet Rake with Hair Shedding Blade

AMAZING DOG BRUSH!!! Astounding at deshedding my German Shepard! I could point out a ton of positives with this rake and I’ll list many of them in this review but you can also just watch the video with this post and see for yourself… First and foremost, this does not pull or hurt my girl AT ALL!!! She can completely relax while I brush her and lay there with complete trust that it will be a pleasant experience for her, no tugging or snagging, start to finish…LOVE THAT!!! As for me, it has been a huge stress reliever as it is shedding season and my German Shepard is driving me insane with all of the hair I’m finding everywhere. I have a basic, double row rake I have been using for years but this one thoroughly gets the job done and gets it done faster than my old one. It’s as easy as brushing hair, no special tricks to using it. The handle/grip is very comfortable. I find myself shaking the brush/rake from time to time just because of the sound it makes from the rotating “teeth”…may be odd but I do like the little rattle sound it makes. Not sure why but it has grown on me. Both sides of the rake work equally well. Other reviews have mentioned it’s useless but it works wonders for my German Shepard…very confused as to why some say it doesn’t work for them. My only hope is that it is durable. I would be totally satisfied with this product/& company if this rake would last for years like my old one but only time will tell. If it does, it is definitely worth the valued price!!! Wahl names the best dog brush stuff. This works wonders on my giant Great Pyrenees, Moose! It glides through his coat and desheds as it goes thru. The other side is a deshedding tool only that's great at removing gobs of fur when it's that time of year.. which is all year round with the Pyre!

This is a lifesaver. My dog sheds like crazy and this makes tumble hairs a thing of the past. Nice fot in the hand, well made, dog loves it.

This is far and away the best coat rake I have ever had. Unfortunately one of the teeth bent immediately during the first use. I am hoping the rest of the teeth stay straight. Otherwise the brush works like a dream and I really love it. If any more teeth bend I will change my review

I have a long haired dog that requires frequent grooming and have tried lots of grooming aids. The flat, serrated side doesn’t work for long haired dogs like mine, but the other side does a great job removing loose under coat.

Meh these are weird. They wiggle and get hair caught in them. It's just weird. I don't use them but maybe they work better on soft hair.

i'm embarassed to say how many brushes i've bought for my dogs over the years. i've tried most of them. furminators, slickeez, slicker brushes, etc. most work great for what they do. but i really think this is my current favorite brush. i have two does, one with short hair and one with long hair, both are double coat and shed like crazy. so i try a lot of things in hopes of making grooming faster and easier. the problem was that i had to use two or three different brushes to brush out both dogs. this brush really saves time by having something that'll work on each dog. this is actually my first rake brush. i usually use a slicker brush or furminator on my longer haired german shepherd mix. it works just as good as those brushes in removing loose fur. it's easier to clean than a slicker brush and way more comfortable for her. the two rows of teeth are tapered but dull and they each rotate individually. i think this is why i don't encounter any pulling when brushing her out like i would with the dematters. my other dog has shorter hair. i had good success with a furminator and slick-eez. this brush has a blade like edge similar to a shedding blade brush.while i think those other tools are a tiny bit better, having to bring out just one brush makes daily brushing so much easier. the only question mark now is durability. if this thing doesn't fall apart or rust too soon, i'll consider it the perfect tool for me.

This works excellently on two of our three dogs. perfect for our two GSD’s, was amazing how much undercoat it helped remove… Pins on these can be ruined easily i think cause the first one we received had broken pins on it and had to be replaced, replacement was perfect though.. Oddly this does not work at all on our newish 3yr old husky mix girl, took no fur off of her at all. her fur is a really thick double coat and maybe she already shedded her undercoat right before we adopted her so perhaps why it isn’t working for her??? either-way love this pet rake comb, not so much the shedding blade part of it though, it has done nothing on all three dogs..

A great and sturdy tool for grooming cats with all sorts of fur. All my fur babies enjoy it too.
