Panasonic KX-TGK220 Designer Cordless Phone, with answerphone, call blocker and do not disturb mode - White

Just arrived and now on charge. Looks great. I'm very pleased.

Stylish, good price and easy to set up. The design is very compact, and like that it is white (which is what I wanted). The only niggle is that it is quite easily knocked off its 'perch' if accidentally brushed against. The choice of ringtones could be better, although I did find one I liked. Useful features include call-blocking, answer-machine, caller list, contacts 'book' and speed-dial.

This landline phone looks very modern, and sleek, it was very easy to set up and has many functions. However you cant just glance at the screen and see who's ringing because it's facing inward, you have to pick up the phone and look, fortunately the phone does't auto connect to the incoming call, so you are able to monitor whether to answer or not. This has both advantages and disadvantages, my old Panasonic auto connected. I find the answer machine function complicated, with many button to press to listen to a message and delete them. the phone is light to hold, with good clarity and a multitude of ringing tones. There are lots of address book slots, but nothing really immovative.

So far so good, This Phone has been really easy to set up and it is very clear when making calls, I changed my Landline to work via my Broadband because eventually all home phones will work via your internet, It’s straightforward and just plugs into your Router First time my original phone worked perfectly but for some reason I couldn’t make calls I could receive calls but that was it I couldn’t even check my Answer Phone or last call no matter what I did it would not work even though it had a Dial tone, I decided to look for a new phone that would plug directly into the router without any problems making calls I looked at a few but chose this one because it is slender and doesn’t take up a lot of space but also I found it was worth the price you get two phones but can add more if needed, I would recommend this phone to anyone looking for a phone that plugs into your router, You have a wide choice of Ringtones and it’s loud enough when it rings.

Set for digital

The Panasonic KX-TGK220EM is a beautifully designed phone, which works simply and is a decent quality. But despite some descriptions on Amazon stating "twin", and despite some answers to FAQs stating otherwise, these are sold singly - your €75-€90 is buying you one handset, not two. This makes them a little more expensive than many other phones on Amazon.

The size , the setup, is just what I wanted.

I wanted something that didn’t look like every other regular home phone - so on that score they’re 5/5, I like how they look a bit different. However, for what they cost I would have expected better build quality and function. They’re light and plasticky, plus they need a jiggle to make them sit straight on their cradle, the screen is just grey tones and basic, backlight is white and unassuming. On our old Panasonic phones we had coloured screens and background pictures, with blue backlights. These just seem to be very basic despite the unusual look. Easy to programme and makes a half decent phone call though so I guess they do what they’re supposed to. If you’re not particularly looking for a different style phone save yourself £100 and get a regular looking set, but if you want something that looks a little bit cooler than all the other phones then get these, they do the job too after all.

Il design è spettacolare….per l’italia….munitevi di adattatore della presa,sia di corrente che telefonica….libretto istruzioni solo in inglese (ma potete arrivarci ,con Google o cercando sul sito il manuale di istruzioni)…..il peggio è che il ricevitore ha un limite basso di volume…se uno è un filo ipoacusico meglio evitare di acquistarlo.

Das Telefon ist sehr chic. Leider hält der Akku nicht lange durch, mehr als 40 min quatschen sind nicht drin. Und die Tasten lassen sich mit Zeit auch nicht mehr so einfach bedienen. Ist jetzt ca. 1.5 Jahre.

war leider nur ein englischer Stomstecker und englischer Telefonanschluss dabei. Musste beides neu kaufen, war leider nicht so beschrieben

Commandé sur Amazon France, le produit est livré avec une prise anglaise : il est donc inutilisable. Suite à mon commentaire, pas de contact du vendeur: ils s'en moquent, semble-t-il. Note descendue à 1 étoile.
