Taste is excellent! I’d say these are best as calorie/ nutrition boosters. Check all ingredients to match nutrition needs, Allergy needs, and sugar content.

Great chocolate taste.

The best protein shake I have ever had. Gluten free, vegan, and healthy. No refrigeration needed for me. Smooth consistency and very easy to grab and go.

My significant other has been battling Crohn’s disease for about a decade. This was recommended to us to help with his diet and to help with recovery. These have been one of the best mix of ingredients that we have found yet. They are able to do an all liquid breakfast in the morning and have less issues with other meals. (Some nutritional shakes would cause a lot of pain and discomfort.) We hav been purchasing them now on the regular. The chocolate variety is his favorite with the strawberry kids shake being the second. I wish they made a few more in the smaller shakes as they are great for an alternative to a snack — that doesn’t make it too full feeling and it mixes it up. They are rather expensive but hopefully they may come down sometime in the future or the possibility to order a bigger order and save. Thank you for making such a great product that’s really helping!! We have not tried any of the other support shakes but these have been stocked since the first time we bought them. It’s been a few months.

I'm a vegan, I liked it. In the first few sips of a non-refrigerated drink, I could taste a little bit of non-chocolate things that were maybe a bit weird. But I didn't get any cardboard and of course there's no artificial sweetener in this one. It wasn't too thick, it wasn't gritty or chalky. It was a nice middle-chocolate flavor, not real dark, not real light. The flavor of the other things faded after a few sips for me. I can't really comment on how filling the shake is or how long it keeps you full, because I drank this first one right after lunch. I can say the timing was a total mistake, having a regular full lunch plus water plus the drink made me very full. Four stars from me. My child is not vegan, I bought it primarily for them to try because they have ARFID and have a rough time getting enough vitamins and fiber. They like ordinary cow-based chocolate milk and their doc suggested more protein, so we're trying various chocolate nutrition shakes to see which one they find most palatable. This one was not it for them. They could immediately taste the vegetables/tea, and there was enough bitterness to make the drink unpleasant even though it'd been refrigerated. It was specifically that bitter flavor that turned them off. So this one is not the magic for my child, but I'll keep these for myself or maybe my spouse until we finish them. No points off for my child not liking the flavor, ARFID does that, not the food.

Mom has cancer and can only tollerate this for protein intake. These drinks are the only ones that she likes the flavor of. Everything else taste disgusting to her. Thank God for these

I have serious GI issues and celiac disease and struggle with nutritional intake whenever I experience a severe flareup. These offer me a gentle supplement with sufficient calories that tastes good when I need the nutritional support. I like that they supply the calories and macros I need, but also the vitamins and minerals I would get from a healthy meal. I love the Spectra phytonutrient They're a bit expensive, but the price is worth it to me for the quality ingredients and nutrition when I need it. I keep a couple in the pantry for emergencies. They are great for anyone needing nutritional support/liquid meal replacements who is vegan, plant-based, gluten free, and top allergen free. Kate Farms is an amazing brand and has done so much for patients with dietary restrictions or allergies who experience GI diagnoses or need formula feeds via G tube or other.

This product is great for my adult daughter who has severe food allergies. What is NOT GREAT is the subscription to receive this product every two weeks. The subscription is for a specific flavor (chocolate) but she continues to receive cases of different flavors (coffee, strawberry, vanilla). It’s hard enough to find food she can safely ingest without having to deal with greedy distributors. I would recommend the Kate Farms nutrition shakes but NOT the subscription option through Amazon!!!
