Beautiful, but cheap
I really love this skirt. I'm 5'10, 170lbs, and I got a large. It runs about a size big, but the lace-up in the back is functional, so I can tighten it. The length is very nice, which I was worried about due to my height. I ironed it on low heat and it did not melt or anything. Not sheer at all. However, this skirt is not worth $60. I'm glad I got it on Black Friday, because the material is 95% polyester and the buttons are sewn on plastic. The zipper is cheap as well, and I worry about breaking it. It's comfortable and very pretty, but not worth the full price.

Cute piece for the price!
I was honestly way more impressed with this than I expected! It's super cute and fit really well. The back has a bit of elastic and laces up with a side zipper and it was pretty snug on my waist. It is maybe ob the lighter side but not so much that's see through. I wore a corset over it and the buttons weren't a problem.

Very long!
The skirt was perfect for the look and style I was hoping for but the length is so off. I usually buy xl but was told the skirt rings kinda small so I bought a larger size. So I'm 5'5 and 189... the skirt fit perfect except for the length. Maybe if I was closer to 6' it would be perfect all around. Also, the zipper was broke...not sure if it was a fluke or not. The fabric was nice and was not see through at all... just wish I could've worn it!

YAY
Thank God! This time I got the actual Scarlet Darkness skirt! It has their label & was in their bag! The last one I bought, wasn't! It was a very bad knock- off! Cheap material, very small! I own 6 Scarlet Darkness skirts I use for Civil War Re-inactments! They are perfect!

I'm I love!!
Ordered this for a Downton Abbey/ '20s themed party I'm going to today. It just arrived 3 hours before the party so I had to quick try it on and OH MY GOSH ITS PERFECT! I'm 5'6 and 125lbs, probably could have gotten away with a medium for the cinched waist look , but I upsized to a large because you know... Hips lol. I'm glad I did because there's only a little bit of stretch to the bunched fabric in the back. But once I got it over my hips, it's perfect! It just reaches the floor so I can get away with my vintage heels, and definitely have some room to pull the corset in the back so the waist is nice and snug :)

Great period costume
I bought this for Victoria costume. It is well made and the material feels nice, thought it is not a real high quality fabric. The skirt is quite long though. I am 5'4' and the bottom of the skirt rests on the top of my shoes. It will work well with shoes with a heel. I read some reviews that the zipper was bad and the buttons were not securely attached, but I have not found this to be the case. Overall, pleased with the purchase. Love the detail on the top of the skirt, really cute.

Sizing chart is way off!
Sizing chart is way off. Do not go by measurements. Go by your normal size as it fits true to size. Based on chart, ordered an XXL (usually wear a M) and it came as an actual XX size! Could fit two of me in it! Material is ok for the price. Not sure how good it will hold up as way to big to wear. Amazon refunded money and didn’t require mailing back to China. Now to donate it

Great skirt but buttons are loose
Love this skirt I’m 5’7” about 135-140lbs and I got a medium. I probably could have went down to a size small but I wanted the space for tucking in tops (especially when it’s cold out) and the lacing in the back easily adjusts to make a better fit. One thing to note is that all the buttons were basically falling off when I got the skirt which is no biggie it’s an easy fix but annoying. I didn’t buy a petticoat for this skirt as I thought I might be able to get away without one but now that I’ve worn it out and about I would recommend finding one as the skirt does try to wrap around your legs/ankles as you walk. Overall super happy with this and pleasantly surprised that it has a long zipper too.

Decent quality - Missing buttons
The skirt itself is quite nice; The fabric feels a little on the cheaper side, but I've seen much worse.Just disappointed that I received mine with 2 of the 6 buttons on the front missing. It didn't come with spares either, so I cant even attempt to fix it without replacing all 6 of them. The size chart in the product images is correct, I don't know why everyone was saying the size is wonky, just go by the actual measurements as opposed to US or EU sizing.

It’s so long, like, fit for a tall guy sort of long.
I had to tailor this skirt. It was much longer than advertised. It had a really awful scent to it when I opened it and the fabric is cheaper than I was expecting.But. After my alterations, I do really enjoy it and because the fabric is thinner than it should be, it’s actually not so bad to wear in the summer heat. Oh the silver-linings. This is why I don’t shop for clothing online hardly ever at all.
