Simple device, cord is right length for most computers, works well with a bunch of different USB devices. As many reviews have noted, the cable is a bit stiff, but reliable USB connections were more important to me and the stiffness was easily overcome by licking a path for the wire without a lot of bends.

Very nice USB extension for a fingerprint reader. The cable is long enough to give you routing options. The base is light and the cord is stiff so I used some velcro to keep it in place.

The cable works great, just wish the cord was shorter

I bought this to add a USB fingerprint reader to my desktop computer.I have found that fingerprint readers plugged directly into a desktop are very awkward to use. This solution allows the fingerprint scanner to be a few cm above the desk and the scanning surface is horizontal so it is very convenient and easy to use. My only wish is that the cord were a little longer. 6' or 2m would be nice.

I bought these to go between my laptop and my dock. It will not work for translating the displays (new samsung 27" curved screen). Everything else works, just not the displays. I know the dock works when directly connected to the laptop, but not using this extension. My hope was to be able to put one from my desktop on the floor and one from my laptop in a tray under the desk and have both modules on my desk and switch from each before and after work. Alas, the displays hate it. I am connecting via display port. Maybe HDMI would work, but I am not willing to go through the hassle to try.

This cable does what i want it to do. Not a bad product. Feels kinda cheap but at the end it works.

Used it for a USB fingerprint scanner on a W10 desktop. I needed to hold the pedestal in place while swiping my fingers to record my finger prints. It works fine holding the little scanner for an unlocking touch.

Feels solid. My PC sits on the floor and is off to the side of my desk. The front ports don't work reliably with my USB HDDs. This allows me to run the good USB 3 port from the back of the PC to a convenient spot on my desk. Just had to apply some double-sided tape to the bottom.

The length of the cable was long enough and both ends are sturdy. An excellent purchase.

The cable works fine if just a bit stiff. I wish the base were heavier or bigger as it is hard to get it to stay flat. Maybe I'll try double-sided tape but I really shouldn't have to...
