I gave it a five star rating because I thought that this was an extract but it turned out just to be the root and I cannot fault the company because I misread the description. It certainly is Eleuthero root because I have been taking the product for years from other companies. Hopefully the company will see fit to create a standardized extract because this root is a known physical strength builder. But there are many other excellent herbal extracts that this company makes.

This is not a ginseng. This is the second time this week I had produce from this company which is not what is referrenced to in the ad. Prehaps new management as they were reliable for many years.If you want to know about it is then search for the biological name, Eleutherococcus senticosu, not ginseng.

I take eleuthero for stress, energy and to keep cold sores at bay. This product has been working well for me. Much cheaper to capsulate my supplements myself.
