These do not look anything like the photo and are only 17 inch square. Yes, I see that the actual size varies by 8 percent ( or 5%, depending on which part of the description you read) but that would be 18 to 18.6 inches. Disappointed.

They function; I don't like that the yarn is a thicker gauge; I prefer a finer yarn for a doily. .

They are very pretty and covered my side tables well.

I've received this two very pretty crochet tablemat and I must say they are quite well made however I needed them in black and used fabric dye to achieve my desired colour, one of them became quite black the other one on the other hand became a rather dull washed up grey colour..despite me running the dye twice. I've dyed quite a lot of natural fabric in the past and never had a problem, so the only explanation is that one of the mat was made mixing some synthetic fabric with cotton and this is not what is advertised. I'm very disappointed, a message to the seller: It would be great if you could make them in black and with a matching runner too.
