Ordered this flower because of its high protein content, and the quality of the grains. My intent was to use it for sourdough bread, I don’t get the rise out of it that I do with white flour. Also did not get the same crisp outer shell like you do with white flour. Going to try blending it. It did make a nice loaf of bread, though, just thinner. tasted great.

It is difficult to stop eating crackers made with this flour, for enough time to write a review. The flavor and texture are excellent.

Wish I found this flour sooner. It’s perfect for my whole wheat bread needs, the flavor is way better than any other whole wheat flour at the grocery store that I have purchased. Will buy again.

I started using this flour for 10% of the flour in my sourdough bread. It looks like a nice high quality organic flower and taste good. I will continue using this.

Excellent flour, bakes very well. My son who has a wheat/gluten sensitivity is able to eat flour from this company, which makes my life infinitely easier. Rather than having to make two versions of a baked good/bread/thickener, one standard and one gluten free, I can make one and everyone can eat it.

I purchased this flour because I had heard about the benefits of heritage wheat grains. I’m new to bread making, but have eaten many homemade whole wheat breads baked by others. My main complaint about whole wheat bread is that it can be dry and sometimes kind of bitter. I made several fluffy, delicious loaves of bread with this whole wheat flour! The texture is not too dense or dry, the flavor is sweet, and I love that it’s organic and non-GMO. It is expensive, but unlike a lot of overpriced health foods this actually a quality product that tastes really good. I will be buying this again!

Pay attention to this. This is a whole wheat flour that makes a brown loaf. Add white flour to it for a blend.
