CURVER 60L Laundry Hamper, Brown

Sturdy laundry basket. The only thing that lets it down is the plastic hinge you attach for the lid. My cat tends to sit on top of the baskets so im not sure how long the hinge will stand up to her jumping on it. I did find the cheaper model of this to have a less flexible lid to it. The cheaper model is very similar for half the price, the sides being very flexible and the hinges are the only differences i can see. I'm 6ft and find i have to bend a little to lift the lid, not good at my age haha.

Definately worth the extra penny for it. I bough another one similar and cheaper at first and send it back as the lead was not closing and the quality was very bad with thin plastic.I have also purchased from the same brand Curver a drawer which was also very good Quality and sturby.

I really like this laundry basket. I enjoy the faux weaving on the plastic, the color is a nice really dark brown, and the capacity is fantastic. The only thing that I don't like about this is that the lid is a bit flimsy at its hinge. It's not a huge let down as I've found that most laundry hampers don't have a good hinge on them. It's a really sturdy hamper; mine has been beaten up by my husband loading it in the car on numerous occasions and it doesn't show any signs of wear.

Overall great design, main body is very strong and sturdy. The colour is probably my biggest concern, none of them look that nicely coloured/modern, a sleek black one would be best. Also the lid is a bit flimsy. But overall a very good basket that will undoubtedly last a very, very long time. Much better to spend a bit more than cheap out at b&m bargains etc and have to buy one every 6 months cos they break so quick. Made really well.

Expensive for what it is - the smaller sized bin has the lid already attached, on this one you have to fit the plastic rod and clips. I purchased two of the smaller bins (5.5) and was very pleased but this does not seem much bigger - although it is at least £6 dearer.The bins are great for laundry as they are a good size - I tend to use them as ironing baskets.
