I bought the set with larger sizes. They are all smooth and easy on the hands to use. The cable is soft...no kinking like other cables. Perfect for double ended Tunisian crochet sometimes called Cro Knit. Good value.

The wood has tons of snags. It comes with a file, but how much can you file before the integrity is diminished? They are also not finger friendly in the slightest! My fingers start to cramp about two rows in. They are just so thin. The cords are pretty stiff and like to curl. All in all I don’t use them. I had to order a more ergonomic set with an interchangeable cord system.

The hooks are a good size and length, however the hooks are very very deep (where the hook is) and the cables connecting them are variable in their stiffness. Some are really stiff, others are pretty flexible.If you are used to knitting/crochet like this, I am sure it would be less of a problem, but it makes them a little harder for me to us.Overall, I think these are fine, just not right for me.

Absolutely love the feel of this hooks and how they glide through the stitches. There perfect for Circular Tunisian Crochet Patterns and Reverse Tunisian Patterns as well. The added benefit is the gift. You get a soft file with the order to smooth out any ruff nest you might find in the wood, but to be honest I found no imperfection at all.

I JUST picked the order up off my front porch, and when I opened the delivery envelope it reeked of an acrid machine oil or a strong chemical smell. The red velvet bag reeks; the bamboo knitting needles reek. It is as if everything was soaked in something toxic!!!! Going right back!!!

These hooks are smooth and easy to work with. Fast delivery and just as expected.

Strong chemical smell oozes from the flex plastic tubing connecting the knitting needles.These things are unusable.

I literally used the size5.5 for 12 rows of a Tunisian stitch afghan. The plastic broke off the end, making it totally worthless. DO NOT BUY
