A truly lovely case to use
I've been through so many cheaper cases, each time trying to convince myself that this one is going to be, well, maybe not quite as good as a B&R but close enough. I was wrong. Sometimes you just have to spend the money to get the quality. The lifetime guarantee is also a big plus. Plusses - the flat internal base (telescopic handle is on the outside) makes it really easy to pack and stops clothes from scrunching up; wheels are really smooth and solid - walked around Boston for a day with it without any issues; it looks smart and modern, unlike some of the other B&R bags; zips are strong; each pocket is really well thought through and serves its purpose. Negatives - besides the price, none. And besides black, the other colours are old fashioned. There's no lock on it (although you can add a padlock) which I thought would be an issue but actually it's always with me, so not really a problem. It expands by 3 cms all the way round which does add a surprising amount of capacity. Better than Samsonite, not as blingy as a Tumi, more understated than Rimowa. Just the best bags you can buy.

A 5 star bag
This carry on, I hope, is everything that I need to put in the overhead. I researched so many bags. I like soft sided bags as it allows for expansion. It has the outside pockets that are convenient. Delivery was quick and packaged really well. It is made of quality materials and zippers are smooth. It rolls nice and there are packing sleeves in side, that also allow for compression. There are no roller bars on the inside. I like the looks of this bag. I purchased two. I hope it holds up as well as the Eagle Creek bags that I will now retire.

Sturdy great luggage
This is the best luggage that I have seen in years. I have over 50 pieces of luggage for travel. And this is by four the best piece of luggage to carry for a 3 to 5 day trip.

Great Carry On
I had been eyeing this bag for a while ever since getting my BR laptop bag but the price was a factor plus I had a decent functional bag. I was using a High Sierra 22" AT7 duffle for the last 8 years with countless business trips. Well it finally could no longer take anymore being drug through NYC streets and one of the wheels broke. I finally had an excuse to replace so I ended up jumping in. I can say this has been great for a replacement. It is very close to being able to fit the amount of items as the prior bag. The compression system works pretty well, I am able to fit four days of clothes with no issues along with a very light jacket, small toiletry bag and a pair of shoes. It fits well in the upper compartment on both AA and United regional jets with no issue. I have used it twice in NYC and once in DC, been able to drag it several block each time and another trip coming up in a couple weeks. If I had to knock anything on it, it would be that the wheels do not have any breaking function so the bag can easily roll away if bumped.

Wished wheels were set wider, but fine suitcase.
Very nice. Quality, fabric, zippers seem better than my wife’s Travelpro. I didn’t think I would like the outside pockets, but actually very useful. Only quibble, wheels seem placed a little too close. Suitcase seems like it might tip over, as compared to same size travel pro, especially if heavier items packed toward top. However on first trip it rolled smoothly and did not tip.

Light Weight
As a flight attendant, I have always used Travelpro. I was hesitant to purchase the Briggs and Riley due to the price, but then I thought I'd never know unless I tried. Well, this is by far the best work suitcase I have owned. It glides so smooth through the airport and on sidewalks. Even fully packed, it is light, which is so important to me. My shoulders usually hurt from pushing, pulling, and lifting my bag all the time. I look at this as an investment in making my life easier. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate. You won't regret it.

More Regal Than a Corgi in First Class
This isn’t a suitcase—it’s a statement. The Briggs & Riley Domestic 22” Carry-On doesn’t travel, it glides. Not rolls. Not bumps. It glides across the terminal floor like it’s late for a private audience with the Queen (God rest her). Pulling this thing behind you instantly elevates your social standing. Airport staff nod respectfully. Children point and whisper, “Mummy, is that Lord Whatshisname?” And suddenly you feel like you should have a signet ring and questionable views on fox hunting. Expandable? Naturally. But tastefully—like a waistcoat with a little extra give. And the internal compression system? Pure witchcraft. You’ll pack three suits, a pair of brogues, and a butler’s worth of accessories and still have room for a tin of Fortnum & Mason shortbread. Is it expensive? Of course. But so is a tailored jacket, a good education, and the occasional peerage. Some things are just worth it. Treat yourself. Travel like a duke. Briggs & Riley: for when “carry-on” really means “carry yourself with dignity, old boy.”

Well worth the price
Excellent carry-on. Best I have ever owned. You pay more than for the cheap and cheerful Samsonites and so on, but what you get in terms of build quality, functionality and thoughtful design ( not to mention lifetime guarantee) is totally worthwhile

Perfektes Handgepäck
Briggs&Riley ist einfach top. Habe diesen Koffer in zwei Größen und Farben. Beide sind super. Durchdacht, rollen leicht und sehen super aus. Die Garantie ist der absolute GAMECHANGER! Nie wieder was anderes. Preis/Leistung ist absolut korrekt. Sollte ich jemals einen neuen brauchen: es wird wieder ein Briggs&Riley! Gibt nicht besseres auf dem Markt.
