Used to install hanging chair hammock on back screened in deck. Pictures for item says it comes with two wood screws and shows picture of screws. But then in the features and details section it says (in poor English) that no screws are provided. So be aware it does not come as the photos show. You will need to go to the hardware store and buy screws or bolts.

I had to return this because i needed something like this for inside my house, and this is just to big and industrial for my low ceilings and cottagey vibe, but if I ever need one outside, I’m going to reorder this! It is so heavy duty and seems like it could hold a car!

This kit is great for mounting in ceilings, and should have the necessary hardware for most situations. The carabiner and swivel are stainless steel. All other components are plated. The spring is very stiff. I'm not sure how much it reduces shock loads, as that is its main purpose. I was very careful in determining where the 2X lumber was in the ceiling, to ensure that I drilled down the very center. You do not want to be off-center and split the wood, or worse, have it split during use.

Easy to install and everything we needed to hang the new chair was in the kit. Very well made and is holding up wonderfully after being installed over a month, the chair is used often for reading and watching tv.

I received a rope swing (like a rope hammock, but a chair) for mother’s day. We used this to hang it from our covered porch. I can swing & spin endlessly. It’s very sturdy, so everyone uses it.

Very solid and worked perfectly. No concerns with these not being strong enough. The bolts are very heavy duty. Other kits I looked at had screws which I did not trust. Very happy with my purchase.
