Do I need to store them in the fridge? What is the shelf life inside and outside the fridge?

We first bought these in a store and they weren't refrigerated there. We keep them in the refrigerator just because it's the best place for us to store them. We didn't keep them in the refrigerator in the past. We've never had a problem with shelf life. We always finish them off quite quickly.
