Maybelline New York Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm, Peach Kiss, 0.15 Ounce

This is really a good product. It makes your lips so super soft. It tastes very lightly fruity but not overpowering. This particular color has an almost frost to it, so not crazy about that, so a light coat suits me. I actually purchased one of each of the flavors for my 3y and 9y old granddaughters. They absolutely abhor applying chap stick, burt's bees, etc. but they LOVE putting this on because it's lipstick/lipgloss to them. My 9y g-daughter pick at and bites on her lips and they stay ragged and oftentimes swollen or almost look infected, as there is a white color to the scabs/chapped places. After using this one full day, an original application and a few reapplications after eating/swimming/playing. By the end of the afternoon, there was a MARKED improvement in her lips already and NO PICKING since applying. Truly, it's wonderful.

I've been wanting to try this lip balm for awhile and I'm so happy I finally did. It is perfect. It makes your lips soft, definitely hydrates them and adds some color to your lips. The color you see in the tubes will be like 5x lighter on your lips. I think it's perfect for people who want color on their lips but don't want to take the plunge or just plain don't like, lipstick. I brought Peach Kiss here and it tastes like peaches which is just an added bonus. I also have Cherry Me, which tastes like cherries and gives your lips a nice red tint. Both colors are perfect for times when you don't want full on lipstick but you want color. Also, it's not sticky at all. I love them!

I adore the color. It subtle and pretty. The problem is that it only lasts for an hour or so.

This lip balm is amazing!!! I got it for $3 here on Amazon as an add-on item, and I wasn't expecting much. Let me say I've been blown away by this since receiving it! The Peach Kiss goes on with just a touch of sheer color on my lips, absolutely perfect for girls like me who aren't fans of lipsticks and too much color. It glides on smooth, doesn't have any funky taste, and lasts just as long as the $25 Sugar lip balm that I own. I'm a HUGE fan of this Baby Lips balm, and I'm already expecting some other flavors/colors in the mail! This is definitely great stuff.

LOVED the color. It feels good on the lips, but the consistency is more like Vaseline than lipstick and it disappears extremely rapidly. People mentioned a taste, which I didn't notice. It does have a fruity smell, and maybe that makes people believe it also has a taste? If it would last on the lips for even just a couple hours, I'd love it. But I would need to reapply every 30 minutes!

I love this chapstick it works well and has a slight shimmer and color to it.

I'm a lip balm junkie to the extreme, I will admit it. No, that doesn't mean I put it on constantly - I want to NOT have to put it on constantly. But I have relatively full lips that get dehydrated easily. I had high hopes for this, given its status as the #1 seller in its category, but I've been extremely disappointed in it. It does not hydrate any better than crappier, cheaper brands - in fact, it's worse than many I've tried (not THE worst, but definitely in the bottom quartile). It just doesn't last very long. I'm going back to my go-to, Blistex DCT (Daily Conditioning Treatment). I'm not the type to use the same product for years on end since I'm ALWAYS looking for the next best thing (in certain categories at least), but I've been a die-hard fan of Blistex DCT for many years now. But I don't really like that it's in a pot, so I keep trying to find alternatives for when I don't trust my hands to be clean, e.g. while hiking or on the bus. Well, this ain't the solution, sadly. What a waste of several hard-earned bucks. Back to my stand-by!PS - The color of "Peach Kiss" is MUCH LIGHTER than my natural lip color (and I'm a pale Caucasian). In other words, unless you are trying to look like a zombie (or intentionally going for paler-than-is-natural lips), I do not recommend this. Strike two, sigh...
