DO NOT BUY. I installed these. The light was bright and and they stuck down fine. After a few minutes, the light switches off. I tried waving at the sensor but they didn't switch back on. I tried unplugging them and plugging them back in and they switched on for 14 seconds, then went off again. The only way I can get them to work is unplugging them and plugging them back in but they consistently only work for 14 seconds before switching off and not coming back on again. Also really annoying is that I can't find a way to contact Amazon to inform them that the product bis faulty. They say I'm outside of the time to return the product (I received the product a month and a half ago), which is not right, as my consumer rights state that a product should 'last a reasonable length of time'.

I have a utility with a light switch at the opposite end of the entrance? I bought this 1 metre strip of LED lights to go under the cupboard and give me light as I walk through. I chose this item specifically because they were battery operated and also had a PIR motion sensor. I’m a female over 65 and do my own DIY etc. This was so easy, I bet a 4 year old to fit it! Instructions straight forward, fitted in 5 minutes or less, worked straight away. I’m speechless. The battery box has small domed PIR, man/auto and on/off switch, good quality materials used. The light strip is heavy duty yet minimal and comes on a reel. Unroll and leave flat for a good few hours to make it easier to stick. It’s very sticky and beware when peeling off backing paper it may take the sticky bit with it. Trying to stop that required attention to detail. Been in place for 2 weeks now and 4 AAAA batteries still going strong, despite the motion sensor being very sensitive! All this much fun for £7.89 inc 99p postage.

I was a bit apprehensive to get these as I was leaning to getting the Ikea version, but I was not disappointed. These were so easy to install, all you need to do is remove the sticky back film and stick it into the place. The sensor is great, so great that because I have a slight gap in wardrobe, the lights turn on when I walk past. The lights have dim slightly after a couple of weeks but that could be due to me using non branded batteries. Over all this is a great product and does what it says on the label.

I bought this light to go on my landing. I get up early every morning and I don't want to disturb anybody else in the house. It works great, its battery operated, and its perfectly timed for getting around our landing / hallway. The only issue that I have (nothing to do with the product) is that it will trigger with any motion day or night. I live in a busy house with people going up and down the stairs all day long. In hindsight I should have bought a low light version, just to prolong the batteries. It's no big deal, when I do grab a night light this will come in handy somewhere else in the house. I'm in no rush to move it as the adhesive tape was very strong, taking it off of our wall will require a touch up of the paintwork.

I bought these to put in my wardrobe as I was having a hard time seeing my clothes with just my bedroom light. Had a hard time installing them in the beginning but that was due to not reading the instructions properly! I used my hairdryer to heat up the adhesive and then stuck it to the inside of my wardrobe. I can now see my clothes and has made organising a lot better :)

I put them over a door frame and the motion sensor works brilliantly for what I want. It works from when I stand/move from about 3 or 4m away.Where I have positioned it my guinea pigs set it off. If you don't like this then put your sensor higher up than I did.I turn it off when I go to bed so that my animals don't set it off. You just press the switch on the side.I was concerned that the TV lights flickering or other room lights being turned on or off would set it off but they didn't. I have had trouble with it not being dark enough for other motion sensor lights to work, but this was brilliant.Time will tell if the batteries last or not, but I am very happy with it.

After looking for mains connected lights and different sensor lights all with varying reviews about the motion sensor, I went with this option. The sensor works well, the light is just about bright enough I wish I got the longer one now though to run it all around the inside of the cupboard door to shed more light.NOTE: the adhesive strip is tricky to seperate from the paper. My first attempt pulled the adhesive off the light rather than pulling the paper off and leaving the adhesive in place.So far so good other than that.

I bought for 3 wooden wardrobes. The roll of adhesive ‘tape’ you are supplied is to be honest rubbish. Even though I cleaned all the surfaces all 3 sets of lights I bought fell off overnight. I’ve got to source a narrow double sided tape now.
