Monster Clay Premium Grade Modeling Clay (Gray -Medium - 4.5lb)

I love Monster Clay. This batch of Medium is significantly softer than the hard, I’ve never used the soft, but this medium is almost as soft as regular oil based plasticine clay. I’ve ordered some hard gray to melt in with it to firm it up. One of the great things about Monster Clay is that you can mix firmness grades together to get the perfect consistency. LOVE this stuff!

Got this for testing purposes, Will be purchasing the harder formula for my purposes. In general though this is fantastic for practicing and being able to reuse for certain purposes. Will be getting the harder version for creating silicone molds. Also a great way for someone to get started with sculpting. (Like me :)) Although I see many professionals use this as well for prototyping and such. I can see why.

Great molding clay. Needs to be heated up before using.

Came super fast and well packaged only problem I had was that it wasn’t actually sealed like with that plastic layer that I would normally peel off it just had the lid on it and even that was cracked in the corner. it still seems okay but it wasn’t very well inspected before shipping.

I love monster clay. Easy to apply when warm and you can sculpt extremly fine details when it cools. Easy to mold with latex when you are finished if you want to create a cast. Then heat your clay up again and create another project. Doesn't crack or shrink. Just be sure not to overwork your clay or the heat of your hands will make it too malleable.
