A perfect fit, and it relieves pressure on calfs.
I use the Sof Sole Arch Performance Insoles for my standard issued military boots. If you have ever worn a standard military boot, the shoes do not come with any sort of arch support. It has a flat slope for the inner bed, and walking around all day with those boots makes my back hurt. Now, I do not purport to whine and complain when gears are heavy, but a flat arch support (or the lack thereof) does not help with the situation. After much consideration, I have decided to give insoles a try. I decided to purchase this particular brand because of the reviews. As it had with the many other people who have reviewed this product, I am really satisfied the way it worked out for me. First of all, the insoles fit inside my boots perfectly, from toe to heel. It didn't require any kind of cutting or adjusting whatsoever. However, I may have gotten just lucky. Second, the Sof Sole Arch Performance Insoles stays in place when I am walking, running, crouching, or doing other activities that require big motion gestures and movements, so that was nice. Most importantly, not only my back stopped hurting, but my calfs began to feel different. I do not know how to word this quite eloquently, but my calfs feel loosened from being "stretchy" all the time. It is a weird feeling, it is something that I do not express often, so please bear with me here. Imagine a sensation that pulls your calf in every direction, from heels to the place where it bends inward at the knees, side to side, inside out, the entire calf portion of the leg pulling. Now, imagine a sensation that releases that tension. I am not a doctor or physical therapist or anything, but the Sof Sole Arch Performance Insoles may be distributing the pressure on the foot to the places where it is appropriate. Anyway, the point that I am trying to make here is that these soles made me feel good about buying them. So, I would easily give it five stars : ) 5 Stars: This product delivers what the seller claims, and the product demonstrates superior quality compared to other products in the market. Furthermore, the product has a good cost-benefit value. 4 Stars: This product delivers what the seller claims, and the product demonstrates superior quality compared to other products in the market. 3 Stars: This product provides what the seller claims, but you may find something better in the market at a similar cost. 2 Stars: This product works, but not to the effect that the seller claims. 1 Star: AVOID AT ALL COST. It might bring you harm (i.e. automobile windshield repair product might create more cracks).

Best one for arch support and cushion
Discovered these and wear them in all my sneakers and closed toe shoes. Better than expensive orthotics. Long lasting with support and cushioning. Easy to cut down to women’s wide sizes.

Best I've found so far for running with plantar fasciitis
For context, I'm a runner who wears US size 11.5M shoes. I've been fighting plantar fasciitis since April. There are basically two shoe solutions for PF: get a solid "stability" shoe and maybe enhance it with a thinner insole, or a thinner shoe and a thicker insole. I've tried various forms of the first approach, to little avail. This is my first shot at the second approach, with these in a pair of Nike Air Zoom Pegasus shoes. The first thing I noticed is that they fit in my shoes perfectly, without any cutting. The second thing is that *the arch is in the right place*. Most insoles I've tried have had the arch too far back, digging into the heel instead of really supporting the arch. They're pretty cushiony, but not so big that they make my shoes feel too tight. Running with these has been more comfortable than anything else I've tried so far. To be honest I'm probably on the cusp of whether I need the high or medium arch. With the high arch I can definitely feel the arch bump a bit, but it's actually kind of helpful. It makes me more mindful of how I'm landing and moving my feet, which is a good thing. When I do land a bit more on my heel (rare), the extra gel cushion helps too. I'd give five stars, but I don't really have enough miles on them to justify that yet. If they continue as well as they've started, I'll come back and revise that.

Still on the fence with these.
Im still testing these in some boots, but I did not like them in my running shoes. They did not feel natural in the heel area, they did not offer enough arch support, and did not offer the comfort that my two successful models offered. (see review below). They also stink something terrible which I have no idea why, but they are made from a very stinky material. They may however work in boots so I am still testing these out. I really wanted to write an in depth helpful review so that I could actually try and help people find some relief for their foot, back, and knee pain that they might be experiencing like I do. Before I start, let me say that from my research and testing of many different OTC orthotic insoles and arch supports I do not think they are all bad or all good. I think they have to be matched to the type of foot you have. Having said that, it can be frustrating to continuously spend money on insoles that offer no help. I have not tried everything on the market, but I have tried many and here are the results that have helped me. First, I have a size 10 foot that is wide. My foot actually measures 9.5 and E in width on a brannock device but through experience I always buy a 10 2E running shoe. Even then certain styles might be a bit snug in the width for me. I am 5'11" and weigh 194. So over the years from gaining weight, being on my feet all day in the medical field, and being pretty active, my arches have fallen. Until I found out they had fallen, I never understood why after being on my feet all day the pain in my feet, ankles, and knees, was downright terrible. Then I started trying the different inserts and some helped but most were a waste of money. You can research on the net how fallen arches contribute to this pain. For my condition, I tend to need a higher arch support that will not collapse when running and staying on my feet all day. So began my search. For my type of condition, the two best products that have worked for me are the blue colored powerstep pinnacle and the Dr. Scholls # 430 insert sold on the foot mapping machines at walmart. I do realize that these are not custom inserts, but I am trying to avoid the expensive orthopedist route as long as I can. So the powerstep pinnacle has the right amount of the medium to high arch support that I require. I can feel the lump under my arch as some have complained about, but this seems to be exactly what I need to feel relatively pain free after being on my feet all day or running my miles each evening. These do take a day or so to get used to, but they have helped me very well for the most part. Do I feel like I'm 18 and problem free again....no, but its the best I've felt yet short of spending a fortune and going the custom route. I have worn these insoles two ways. On shoes that run big I have placed them on top of the factory insole which gave just a little extra cushion and I have also removed the factory insole and used just the powerstep insole by itself. These are strictly running shoes that I have tested these in, but I have no doubt they would work in boots as well. I do not think they would fit in dress shoes. As a side note I also tried the maroon colored pinnacle max but the wedge on the bottom of the orthotic over compensated too much for my level of pronation and it was uncomfortable for me. I use the blue inserts in a stability type running shoe and this has been the best combination for me. The other insert that worked well for me was the 430 Dr.Scholls on top of the factory insole as these are 3/4 length. So for my type of foot, I have tried the green super feet which did not offer enough arch support but were very comfortable for someone who may require less support. The pinnacle maxx were great except for that square plate underneath which over corrected my pronation and was uncomfortable. I tried the Dr. Scholls arch pain relief which were terrible compared to the other 430's. They did not fit well in any shoe and the arch support while high, did not ever seem to fall in the right position for my foot. I tried the envelop 3/4 orthotics and these did not work well either. They too just never fit in the shoe right or felt natural. I tried the VIVEsole 3/4 length and these felt like they had no arch support at all and were so narrow they kept shifting around in the shoe. I am still waiting to receive some spenco's and some prolab p3 semi customs to try and see how they do. I will rate the pinnacles at a 4 because they feel about as good as my #430 Dr.Scholls and they do help a lot, but I'm sure compared to a custom they can only do so much. They were by far the best OTC I have come across in my testing so far. So if you need the higher support from fallen arches like I do, these may help you. Remember, you will feel the highness under your arch which you get used to. and you should wear them intermittently the first few days to adapt to them. Don't be afraid to try them with or without the factory insole left in place.

A bit different from the previous versions I have used
This particular Sof Sole is a bit different from the previous versions I have used. The older ones I have were constructed with a stiffer bottom layer that didn't really bend much at all. That layer ran from the heel and about 3/4 down the length of the sole. Sofar those have worked very well for me. Whereas this newer version is very pliable throughout. I can actually bend the whole thing thing or hold it by the heel and move my hand up and down and it just flops around like a wet noodle. I didn't have much faith in these working very well for my plantar fasciitis. Well, I was wrong. they work just as well as the older version. Actually they work well enough that I bought a second pair for use in my second new pair of shoes that I wear to work every day. I actually have 2 pairs of shoes for work, another pair (formally for work) that I use when wearing around town. Another pair that are 3rd generation work shoes that i use for lawn work and yet another pair for use just inside my house. All those were former work shoes (I wear "tennis" shoes at work). I always buy 2 pairs of shoes at a time that I alternate from day to day. All this to say: every pair of shoes I own/wear has its own set of Sof Soles in them. This the only brand I I have found that alleviates the pain from that dang plantar fasciitis. At one time I looked into getting orthotics made for that condition. For what one set of orthotics would have cost...well...even with those 8 pairs of shoes..each with its own set of Sof Soles...I have yet to have spent enough on Sof Soles to equal 1 pair of very $$$$ costly orthotics. AND..THEY (the Sol Soles) WORK GREAT!!!

Very comfortable insole with OK support. Easy to trim to size.
Love the comfort for the price. Arch support is pretty good for foam. Thickness is on the high end which is good for me, because I usually have a bit of room to work with in my shoes. I use these mostly in casual shoes but also in my Jordan's. I feel like they work great for any kind of movement, running, walking, all-day comfort. Affordable comfort and quality.

Excelentes plantillas.
