Wonderful resource for teen anxiety!
I bought this book to utilize with a teen girls support group I am currently leading. I found it to be packed with useful ideas, questions, activities, suggestions, handouts, and more. It's a great resource for a school or mental health professional to have on the shelf and refer to or make copies from to talk through with teens. This seems to be a book best used in a setting where these can be talked through, as opposed to just filled out personally. It covers a pretty broad range of topics but is very straightforward. Overall, I think it's a great resource! Thanks so much, Sarah Baker, MAMFT Atlanta, Ga [...]

perfect for us!
This book is so awesome! I got this for my anxious 13 year old and it has helped her tremendously! Easy to understand yet old enough not to seem to baby-ish to her. Real suggestions she can start implementing right away and more importantly it helped! She is only 1/2 way through the book I already notice an improvement

Best Teen Support Purchase EVER!
This series of teen workbooks is one of the most valuable resources I have found for counseling my at risk teenage students! I purchased the anxiety, anger, self esteem and overcoming negative feelings handbooks and I was honestly nervous. So many of the tools avaliable to address teen needs are dated and are taken as nothing but a joke by those they are designed to help. My 6th-12th graders happily and often eagerly engage in the questionnaires and activities in these books! They also have told me that they feel like they really do help. That in and of itself is worth it to me!

Fantastic book. I use it with all my anxious ...
Fantastic book. I use it with all my anxious teens. I have to book for myself as a reference guide, have my patient purchase one, and use the online PDF to print out needed pages for parents or other support people who need to know what I'm working on with their child.

Useful Tips but Repetitive
I was recommended this book by my doctor. I have done many emotional workbooks through my years and have found them all to follow a typical pattern or to be somewhat repetitive. In this case, this workbook is exactly that. It's worth noting, however, that the tips are useful, but they are nothing new or "ground-breaking". In other words, unless you are looking for an alternative to therapy, this book won't help you much other than giving you tips that a therapist would.

Mom approved, helpful resource for teens and teens
As a mom of a tween girl I bought this book to help her manage her anxiety. Itโs very easy to use and perfect language for the tween and teen years. Itโs a workbook with lots of room to write. Itโs been a helpful resource for us to do together and uses kid friendly language to explain strong feelings and emotions. I originally saw this at our school library and thought it was worth a try. Definitely recommend

Practical help for teenagers who want to do rather than just read!
Bought for my 14 year old son who suffers from severe anxiety. He has found it very useful writing or drawing things to express feelings. He's is a list maker and is very organised, so this style of book with practical things to do seemed to suit him very well. Highly recommend.
