Castor Oil Shampoo Bar Soap for Hair Growth & Scalp - 3.2 oz

Absolutely love this shampoo! I am a 74 year old women with shorter thin gray white hair. This is my first time using a bar shampoo so I was a little skeptical. How hard would it be to apply, would it leave my hair in a tangle, would it dry it out. I've tried other shampoos that claim to give volume and texture to thin hair and they've worked for the day I use them but in between shampoos my hair would go back to being flat. I was actually amazed how this bar of Rosemary & Biotin changed the texture and look of my hair after one use and the look lasted until my next shampoo! I've already ordered another bar. It's easy to use, a couple of swipes over different spots of my hair and it lathers perfectly, rinses out completely, hasn't dried my hair out ( I have well water), I love the texture now and it smels wonder! I do keep it on a drying rack in the shower to make sure it lasts as long a possible. I do have two wishes though.. I wish the smell lasted longer and of course I wish it wasn't so expensive but for now I'm willing to pay because of the change it's made in my hair! Would absolutely recommend this to anyone with thin fine gray/white hair.

I was surprised how much I like this product. I have very long thick hair, and have had problems with solid shampoo in the past. It takes a second to get the lather going but I found once I had a good foam it worked well. It also lathered much better on the second shampooing (which is usually how it works when I double shampoo). My hair is soft, doesn't have a weird film or residue, and is no more frizzy than it usually is. I can't say it helped with frizz, but it didn't claim to do so either. The smell: A lot of reviews noted the scent of this product and I will admit it is quite strong. I would also place it far closer to "old lady smell" than I usually like my products to go. It isn't White Diamonds old lady, but it is mature smelling. With that being said, the lather smell isn't as strong and most of the pungency from the smell™ washes off when your rinse out the shampoo. (Bonus, the conditioner bar is far less aromatic.) in the end, my hair (thankfully) did not end up smelling like grandma.

I really love these soaps! They make your hair feel so clean and they really do manage dandruff well. I have this one, and the coconut one, and I use them interchangeably depending on what effect I want. The coconut one is really moisturizing, and the tea tree one is very good for dandruff. The smell of the coconut one is absolutely amazing.

Thus was my first time using a shampoo bar. I honestly wasn't super confident in it as I have A LOT of very thick hair, but it turns out I should have been. First, this rosemary and biotin smells so good. I was shocked at how long this little bar is lasting too. It's been weeks and the size has barely noticeably changed. It also lathers up really nicely with very little product. My hair feels soo nice and clean afterwards and not to mention jusy soft, and bouncy. I only got the shampoo because I didn't think a solid bar of conditioner could actually condition or soften my hair, but after how the shampoo results have been I feel the need to try the conditioner too. If you've never tried a shampoo bar before, I encourage you to give it a go.

This is a unique product that will replace your regular shampoo. You should lightly coat your hair and lather with water. It lathers very well *TIP* : store it in your shower standing up AND use it from the bottom or the top when applying it. It feels natural to hold it and use the front or back of it to apply but this will gradually make it fall apart and crumble, cutting the amount of use you get.

It lathers really well and smells good but not strong at all. The smell is very faint. WHAT I DIDNT LIKE: it made my hair kind of dry. The dryness went away when I used conditioner however I don’t think I’ll continue using this shampoo. I want to try their other shampoos, such as the coconut oil one to see if it is more moisturizing

Wow! I am thrilled with this shampoo! I love the fact it is a bar. It seems to go further than a bottle of shampoo. In one weeks time I have seen an improvement in my hair. It feels thicker, appears fuller and is making my hair shinier. Will continue to buy this! No regrets with this purchase and price is great too.

Ultra gentle and leaves hair incredibly clean. I was a bit sceptical but it has won me from the first wash! May definitely not be for everyone's hair but I have thin hair and it has worked wonders

My wife wanted to give this a try and says after first use, she is very impressed. The shampoo lathered well, and she could run her hands right through her hair even before using the conditioner. She said they conditioner works well too. Sure, it takes more time to get it on your hair than traditional products, but my wife says her hair is softer, feels thicker, and did not frizz after using the blow dryer. She said there was also no need to use her straightener if she really didn't want to or didn't have the time. It dried very smooth - much smoother than it does with bottled liquid products - even really expensive brands. This was a definite win!
