This was no gamble...it was a sure bet...Thank You
the only non perfection in my opinion is the plastic covering on the alligator clips...they cover too much of the metal clip itself otherwise it works exactly as I hoped and expected....I know I will get years of good service from it....Thank You

6v-12v battery charger
Work fine and has 3 LEDs to indicate how is the charge. I had a totally bad discharged battery and the charger didn't turn on the red light but this only happens I think for safety that the charger believe that nothing is connected, then I tried one with some charge and made the three cycle completes. The only think I don't gave 5 star is because of the alligators that are too hard too open with the slippery plastic cover.

Overcharged 6V Battery
I needed a 6V charger for my solar electric fence battery and it needed to have smallish alligator clips to connect to the battery (the terminals are small and close together). My battery was at 4V when I connected the charger. The red indicator came on as expected. I periodically monitored voltage with a multi-tester and the voltage was slowly increasing as expected. After a couple hours, the 6V battery was charged to about 9V and the red indicator was still on and the charger was very warm. Since there is no selector switch, the "auto detect" feature of this charger is supposed to determine if the battery is 6V or 12V. This charger didn't know when to stop and I'm thinking my $40 battery is ruined. I'll go with something that provides better control/indication of charging status for my next purchase.

These Chargers work excellent I have no complaints the light goes from red to Green and they work quite well I don't worry about overcharging and once the light goes to Green the charging stops, it really keeps my mind that the battery will not overcharge
