Fitness instructor review
If you’ve never taken a step class this may not be the right DVD for a beginner . While I am not a beginner stepper I did find it challenging to keep up because of the fast pace . My advice to you is watch each segment before you begin and do the video without the step at first to familiarize yourself with the moves .I like that the segments are short and a mix of cardio and lower body strength . I enjoyed seeing all the shapes and sizes “showing out”There is no “warm up” but you can use the intro as one .From a fitness instructor stand point :When facing the audience , the instructor’s left should be the viewers right . I was able to adjust . Beginners may be confused .Also giving queues on proper alignment when stepping and squatting would help beginners .Other than that ....you will sweat and have fun doing it .

I would recommend to anyone even if you can only do a little
Absolutely love this. I have fibro and lupus and hurts to move at all but the more I am able to move it’s suppose to be good for me. I am able to do the basics and can keep up for most of it. If I hadn’t seen his videos on fb and ordered this, my body would be in worse shape in more ways than one. Just the encouragement he gives throughout helps me make it farther each time I do it. I have not been able to make it thru whole dvd yet which is expected with my body but I’m doing it. This man is awesome, he is a Godsend to help those who needs it and will try. I will b forever great full for his dvds and the encouragement he gives me. I will eventually be able to get thru the whole dvd in one workout and wouldn’t be able to with out him

Fun, Fast and Great Workout!
I love that I can get a good calorie burn. The music and Phil keeps me motivated/hyped. However, I don’t think this should be called a Beginner version. Even though I can keep up with the majority the routines, I can’t imagine a beginner trying to keep up. Make different levels so all can feel good about their workout. Thank you!

Really fast workout.
This video is good but it’s really fast had to stop and see steps a couple of times. Its really a fast past workout and I don’t remember how many time my feet twisted up trying to keep up almost tripped over my own feet. But you definitely will sweat.

Very Good Beginners CD
If he could make a beginners CD for seniors 60+ that would be great, I found it kinda hard to keep up. But the workout is great. Now I have a challenge, hopefully I will catch on to the moves soon. I do the workout everyday and will retrack my first statement. Wish the CD could have been out when I was 30 LOL.

I like it
I like it. Learning the moves takes a minute but it is well worth it. It’s fun. Don’t forget to buy the same step or similar step that they have because I have the old square steps that I kept way back in the 90’s and I couldn’t do the moves so I had to pay for their step and it’s better.

Not for beginners
I don’t think this is for beginners at all.
