This has changed my life as a real estate photographer! I’ve been carrying heavy tripods and stands and killing my back … until THIS!!!! Omg! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!!

If you hold a 360-degree panoramic cameras like the Ricoh Theta series directly in your hand, the hand will appear prominently in the stitched panorama and spoil the effect. I used a Benro MK10 selfie stick recommended on the 360Rumors.com site, but it's a bit flimsy, and bulkier than I'd like, so I replaced it with a combo of Ricoh's TM-1 VR monopod and this TM-3.The TM-3 is solid. The tripod screw mount is sized to disappear under the Theta's base (I have a Theta Z1), there is a 1.4" UNC thread in the base to attach tripod legs, the handle has a comfortable neoprene grip, and its sections lock in place with a twist. It's also very compact, but doesn't extend very far, about 42cm/17in. The Ricoh TM-2 extends almost twice as far, but has the unnecessary swivel head that adds bulk and reduces stability.

This does it’s job - holding my Theta Z1, but it’s so easy for it to lean even slightly which can throw off a panorama photo.It feels cheap and flimsy for the price.On the plus side, it shrinks down to a very nice travel size, the tripod can be expanded or narrowed without changing height of the camera.It works, but I’d consider something else next time

The tripod is very flimsy. its tall and skinny made of plastic. if you're on a slight slow there is no adjustment to make it level. This is important to me because sometimes if you're shooting 360 and you're on a sidewalk that has a slope. I would not buy this product.

This has the perfect footprint for the 360 camera but the tripod is made with plastic joints that snap easily. I have broken two by setting them down a little too suddenly.

Product did not retract properly. Fell apart on first use.

Selbst das teurere Modell TD-1 hat einen Mini Fuß! Das fällt ich sofort um, wenn man das Stativ auf dem Rasen stellt. Nicht so bei dem TD-2 Modell.Ich bin kein extrem zufrieden!Übrigens, eine insta360 passt auch drauf ;)

Als je gewend bent om zware DSLR-spullen mee te slepen, is je eerste indruk van dit statief dat het niet zo veel voorstelt. Het is dan ook even wennen om niet langer te denken in kostprijs per kilo, maar in toegevoegde waarde. Dat geldt voor de Ricoh Z1 camera die veel gebruiksgemak en toch een goede kwaliteit levert, en ook voor dit statief dat daar perfect bij past en het retoucheren in post-productie tot een minimum beperkt; het is namelijk nauwelijks zichtbaar in de nadir. Aanrader!
