Will move around but great buy!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is great. My dog would have her food done in under a minute. This has slowed her way down!!Cons: unlike other items similar to this, this one doesn’t have the suction cups to keep it from moving. So if it’s on the floor, don’t expect it to be in the same spot. Also not the easiest to clean but it means it’s not easy for my dog to woof it all down so...But for the price, it does what I need it to do. I’d definitely by it again.

Really works!
My puppy (white) is such a fast eater! She normally scarfs down all of her food and then eats my older dog’s food. After getting this bowl, my older dog can completely finish his food with time to spare before she finishes! I give her about 1.5 cups and that pretty much fills the bowl up. The non slip bottom doesn’t work that well, it still slides around a little but she hasn’t flipped it yet. Would definitely recommend this product!

Great product!
We have a newly adopted rescue Boxer mix puppy. She is a voracious eater and has food aggressions. The first week when feeding her she would be so excited/aggressive during feeding I could hardly get a bowl of food to the floor without her knocking it out of my hand. And then when she ate it was gone in SECONDS!Thank goodness for Amazon Prime we got Birdie her new bowl quickly! This slow food bowl has really slowed her down. It frustrated her at first because she had to work for her food.Thankfully the food aggression is getting much better. No more growling and carrying on as she's settling in and trusts she will be forever loved and fed well. Our girl was 9 lbs on adoption day, 2 months later she's 32lbs healthy and still growing! This is an excellent bowl, Birdie will be getting the next size up soon.

Works really well, just wish it was smaller.
Needed a slow eater bowl for my 10lb schnauzer. I’ve tried other slow eater bowls and she works around them and still eats really fast. This is a great bowl she eats slowly. The only thing I wish was different is that my dog is only 10lbs and this is too big for her. I volunteer at a dog rescue for small dogs and we have the same issue. Most things are made for larger dogs. This bowl holds up to 2 cups of food. My dog eats only 1/4 of a cup each meal. I have 3 dogs, but only my schnauzer can use this bowl because she has a long snout, I wish they made a smaller version (smaller diameter and smaller height), that would work for the majority of small dogs.

Perfect for reducing eating speed
Night and day difference! My puppy has severe food anxiety, so with his traditional bowl he would scarff his food down so fast he would snort and choke while eating, causing him to lose his breath and become even more anxious, his posture was hunched, tail tucked, belly sucked in. The very first time I introduced this bowl he was so interested in figuring out the “puzzle” of getting his food that he forgot to be anxious, and has been eating without incident since. His posture is relaxed, and he hasn’t choked once since using this bowl. We feed him 1 cup at a time, which fits fine in this size dish.

It works!
Never knew I would need one of these until I adopted my cute little puppy from my local shelter. I attribute her fast eating (swallows entire bowl under 15 seconds) to her shelter conditions - having to share food with her kennel-mates. She was swallowing food so fast that she would get hiccups after and would often make those regurgitating noises as if it was going to come back up.Got this and have been using it for about a week now. Have to say I’m so thankful- little Evee is now taking about 10 minutes to go through the dish. I think it also keeps her mentally intrigued as well, having to work for the food. Hopefully she slows down enough that at some point (long term) I can switch her back to a regular food dish.Update: I didn’t notice until last night that one of the rubber feet came off and I can’t find it anywhere :(. Need to find a replacement! I’m scared the rest will come off and the bowl will slide everywhere.

Does work but puppy figured it out pretty quickly
Got this to slow down the puppy's eating and giver her some more mental stimulation. The first time it took her about 20 minutes to eat her cup of puppy chow. After a few times she was down to about 5 minutes. That's still better than 30 seconds! Holds about 1/2 cups of small ( 1/4 inch or so) puppy kibble when filled to the rim. That's fine but a little smaller than I expected. I would buy the harder one next time, but wasn't sure how hard or easy this would be for her. Lab/border mix about 20 pounds

Huge help at feeding time
Great value on this bowl. My dog has a scarfing issue. Like hardcore, will try to eat as many pieces of food as she can as fast as she can. This slows her down a ton and is quite durable. I tried some other methods to slow down her consumption but this has been the best and easiest. Highly recommend if you are considering it. My dog is a 75lb lab so this isn't just for puppies or anything, it fits 1+ cup of food at a time and if you have a dog that is eating too fast, that is fine even if they eat more food than that, you can just keep refilling the bowl.My one nitpick is the little rubber stoppers on the bottom fall out far too easily. I no longer feed my dog on the wood floor so traction isn't an issue but she is an aggressive eater so the bowl was constantly ending up 5+ feet from where it started. Overall, not a huge concern for me.
