About the Author T I Wade was born in Bromley, Kent, England in 1954. His father, a banker was promoted with his International Bank to Africa and the young family moved to Africa in 1956. The author grew up in Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). Once he had completed his mandatory military commitments, at 23 he left Africa to mature in Europe. Here the author owned and ran a restaurant, a coffee manufacturing and retail business, flew a Cessna 210 around desolate southern Africa, and achieved marriage in 1992. Due to the upheavals of the political turmoil in South Africa, the Wade family of three moved to the United States in 1996. Park City, Utah was where his writing career began in 1997. This series is one of the best reads I have gotten for my kindle. TI Wade is a great author and you can actually see the people
Great series. Just finished the last one. I am really sad that it ended. But what a way to go out. T I Wade, you really should be proud of yourself and I really loved all the books. By the way, I read the series twice and loved it even more the second time. Wish you could keep this series going but alas all good things must have an ending. Would love to see it in a movie

The depressing end to a great series.
I loved the previous seven books in the series. This one was the dark and depressing conclusion to a fun, inspirational tale. It could have wrapped everything up on a high, happier note, but it seems as if the author is so tired of the story and characters that he decided to kill them all off. Whole families simply die off. Astermine, Inc simply dies off. Planet Earth mostly dies off. The clever, well-crafted writing we see in the other books just isn't here.

Not what it should have been
The author got long winded at the first part of the book. From when Mars became the main character did it became a five star rating. The ending with Roo was the best of all the books. Loved it.
