In about six months of ownership, these haven’t been good. A trivial fault is that two pairs of laces they’ve supplied have disintegrated - losing the ends and fraying. Customer support taking days to reply to a message each time.The final nail in the coffin is that they’re no longer waterproof. They’ve had a reasonable amount of use with dog walking but nothing that £200+ shoes should struggle with.

I walk a lot and like many who walk a lot my feet are a bit lumpy and bumpy thanks to bad choices of boots (or a complete lack of choice). I'd done well with wide-fitting Keen's for a while but had to give up as the quality and fit seems to have changed dramatically recently. I was desperate to find something I could walk in and ordered various different boots. These ones are wonderful! They've only let water in once and that was because the water was a foot deep and it seeped in down my sock. They seem to shed dirt and mud like nobody's business and the laces are a dream due to having 3 hook-type ones so that putting them on and off is easy, without having to shove your feet in or out. Worth every penny. Love my Hanwags!
