ETA: 9/2022**We're still so thankful for this lotion! Even though the smell is really gross (apparently all KP lotions, especially "unscented" still have a very pungent odor) this is by far the best I've found as far as the most natural ingredients, which is more important to me than the smell. (My daughter and I always laugh about how terrible it smells but she's happy to use it because IT WORKS!)**I had KP as a kid and my oldest daughter unfortunately inherited the annoying bumps. She’s been so upset over the last year or so and has begun to obsessively pick at them, nearly causing infections.She was in tears the other night telling me she wants to stop but they really bother her. We did everything we could over the years by removing dietary triggers, stress, chemicals, detergents... all of which was helpful and working until all the stress of forced lockdowns and seclusion started making her anxious and it flared back up. I searched for a natural solution, and this was what came up first. I read the reviews and was so hopeful.We used it the first time two nights ago, and immediately her skin was so much softer, even over really agitated bumps. The smell is kinda icky, a little bit like a musty towel used to clean up a slushee spill, BUT, we don’t even care, because after two days of use (6 applications) her skin is looking SO GOOD!! It’s amazing.And it’s true, it’s very thin and spreadable, so a little goes a long way. It absorbs very quickly, and doesn’t burn or feel intense.Thank you from my sweet 8yo! She’s very pleased and relieved... And so am I!

The product is nice. It does seem to work and minimize the little bumps on my sons skin. The smell is not so nice.

Every botanic tree item I try keeps getting better and better! I love that this is scentless! I can easily layer other creams over it if I wish. Not to mention that it has done WONDERS for my two effected areas! The skin on my upper arms has NEVER felt so smooth. I have tried every brush type for exfoliating and nothing has come close!

It's thin ( in a good way) as not to be too thick. It's moisturizing, but it smells horrible. As others have mentioned,it does smell like mold. I had to return because of that reason, which is a shame because the ingredients looked good.

I don’t write reviews on Amazon... or anywhere... but oh my goodness this product is fantastic! I use it on my arms twice a day (after shower at night, again in the morning). After only 2 days I noticed a difference! After 5 days it’s been a HUGE improvement! I’ve tried every KP product that exists over the years of my KP struggles (AmLactin, gold bond, etc) but this is the best one by far! It’s very thin and spreads easily, which I like cause it doesn’t feel heavy on arms. It sinks in pretty quickly and a little goes a long way. It hydrates my arms so well. I just love how lightweight it is. There is a bit of an odd smell- but I don’t care about scent at all. It seems to disappear. It doesn’t cause any redness or irritation or over-exfoliation as some products have in the past. In fact it eliminates the redness on my arms that already existed from the KP. My new favorite!

I don't know if mine is rancid or if this is what it's supposed to smell like, but it smells like really bad mildew. My cat wouldn't even sit with me after I applied it. I genuinely want to know if I can get a refund because I can't imagine anyone continuing to use a product that smells this awful. The smell doesn't wash off, either. I'd rather have rough and bumpy skin than smell like this.

I am not sure where this company is earning its reviews, but for the price & efficacy, I will be sticking with Cerave.I bought this product because it had all the ingredients I was looking for in a product, but after using multiple times, I did not feel like it was resolving any of my issues. Best bet is to stick to tried and true Drug Store Brands that have stood to the test of time.

It is not very thick, which I think is nice and doesn’t leave a greasy sticky feeling. It does smell a bit weird but it’s not an odor that’s so strong others can smell. But the product works wonders. I purchased with the body wash and my KP cleared with in 4 days. You do need to use continuously or bumps do come back. And be so so care full in the sun and tanning with this product!
