How does the MagJig turn the magnet on and off?

A simple mechanical twist of the knob turns the permanent magnet’s holding force completely on or off. No electricity, batteries, or external power source is required — making it clean, reliable, and ready for any workshop.

How is MagJig different from traditional clamps?

MagJigs deliver instant on/off control, faster repositioning between setups, and consistent downward hold without fighting clamp tension or marring workpiece surfaces.

Does MagJig improve workflow speed and repeatability?

Yes. Operators can engage or release the hold in seconds and reposition fixtures instantly. This reduces setup time, improves consistency across cuts, and supports more repeatable production or custom woodworking workflows.

What surfaces does MagJig work on?

It provides strong hold on flat steel and cast-iron surfaces such as table saw tops, router tables, metal fences, and fabrication tables. Common applications include custom jigs, sleds, fences, and modular workholding systems in woodworking.

Which MagJig model should I choose?

Smaller models are ideal for lighter jigs, fences, and general use. The 150 lb model offers strong holding power for larger jigs and sleds. The 235 lb model is best for heavy production work and large professional fixtures.
