Worked brilliantly on first go. Followed a recipe to the tee and then placed on here to double in size before placing this tray in the oven with a pan of water below it to allow steam to crisp up the outside of the baguettes. Bread cooked perfectly.

Great for baking baguettes

Likes. The holes and shape allow the heat to cook and brown the baguettes brilliantly. Light and easy to store. Dis likes. Hard to clean, and the non stick has began to come, but I do use it very often.

For the money, this is great. I am pleased with the shape of my baguettes, left for their final rise in this tray. Do be aware of the following and then you will get good results: 1) The little holes prevent a damp underbelly but if left to rise in the tray, the botton of your baguettes will have a 'chicken skin' and may be harder to remove from the tray as dough sinks into the holes. I don't like the chicken-skin effect so I now line my tray with baking paper. All of the trays of this type have the holes. 2) The tray is a little bendy so hold it on both sides. That sounds worse than it is - it won't fold in half or anything but the baguette on the far side could sag if you aren't careful. The baguettes are nicely sized, and I recommend John Kirkwood's recipe on YouTube which I used for the baguettes shown.

After 2 months of using this baguette tray, I can honestly say it's been a very reliable item to have in my kitchen. At first it looks flimsy and unreliable but this is not the case, yes it has a bit of flex to it but that works in your favour to get the baguettes off. I highly recommend this product.

Brilliant item - does exactly what it says, bread stays nicely shaped and slides off easily once baked

I discovered a really easy no knead baguette recipe that even a fool can't mess up. Only challenge with it is that they go out of the traditional baguette shape when you cook them on a tray or silicon mat. This little tray however keeps them in perfect shape and works really well to prove the loaves too. Dusting with a fine layer of flour means no sticking and an easy clean. Pair this up with a lame and you will be the master of great French bread. Bon appetit.

The middle two sections feel secure but the edges are thin with no edging, so if there's a loose dough it does feel like it might flop out, and it's a little difficult to handle when there's 4 baguettes in there. It would really benefit from handles as the sharp edging does affect it's functionality and ease of use. However, for the price it is really good for helping to form that lovely baguette shape. It's non stick so if you avoid that you'd need to line it with paper, though you'd then need to remove the baguettes to cool after baking. The nonstick makes it easy to clean. Other than the edging impacting the functionality I would actually recommend this especially if you're only making 2 baguettes at a time.

Good Quality and very usefull

Ekşi maya ekmek yapımı için almıştım. Fırın fanlı olunca ekşi maya ekmek yapmanın pek tadı olmuyor. Bir nebze olsun ekmek daha çok kabardı. Öyle deliklerden hamur falan çıkmıyor. Başarılıydı.

Ik zou dit niemand aanraden om te kopen. De antiaanbaklaag laat na een tijdje los. Zie de zwarte spikkels op de tweede foto. De andere foto is van de onderkant. Die is nog goed omdat die nooit met het brood in contact komt. Helaas zilver kleurige residu op mijn broden. Dus na een tijdje onbruikbaar, want dit is een voedsel onveilig product.

Machen damit regelmäßig Baguettes. Nichts klebt an. Die Backwaren werden schön kross.
